BE MY LOSTIE

EPISODE NINE
"If you don't think your anxiety, depression, sadness and stress impact your physical health, think again. All of these emotions trigger chemical reactions in your body, which can lead to inflammation and a weakened immune system. Learn how to cope, son. There will always be dark days. But you should be stronger" - Mum; my therapist.

It was a new day, a Tuesday. The night had gone-by as peaceful and serene as it could be.
The glimmer of the rising sun on my skin delivered a warm morning message that today would be a fine day. I was hopeful same as excited.

I jumped off the bed in my underpants and so did my new phone. The difference being that I stood in gravity but it didn't.
I picked it as soon as it got to the floor tile. No harm done. I poked it just to be sure it wasn't damaged, it wasn't.

I also knew it was real but I needed to give-the-nod that truly Seyitan had called me last night.

I quickly checked the received-calls-log and truly I wasn't daydreaming.
It was real. She had called. For over ten minutes and some seconds we'd conversed.

Seconds later my stupid brains took over, reminding me all she had told me.
I fought to consign to oblivion as I held down few work-out-routines that I could bear; few push-ups, press ups and cycling stand.
Oh! How I missed my gym equipments.

Meanwhile, I began to feel the grip of solace and clemency as I finally sat on the bed but this time trying hard enough to remember them all. How could I forget the fact that I was defeated in what seemed like a debate and I.Q contest?
A contest between Seyitan and I.

"hello Seyitan!"... I spoke after a little reluctancy to prod the buzzing phone. There was no response from the caller.

I brought the phone back to my view checking if the caller had hung-up, she hadn't, therefore I lapped it back to my ear.

"hello Seyitan, you there?"... I said again, this time my voice was louder.

" Hello Sir..." she finally spoke. For a moment I doubted she was the one. Her voice was unbelievable, far different from her manly and die-hard attitudes.

"told you my name's Kevin or you call me KD"

"sorry Mr Kevin, KD?... What's that?" her voice seemed more steep.

"means Kevin Duane... Alright?"

"Right!.. For a moment there I thought it meant Kid or probably Kidney" she joked.

"Very funny" I bantered.

"well am just calling to let you know how much of an asshole you are" I was totally abacked, but her voice didn't sound like she meant it. I had to keep cool and play along.

"really?"
"yeah! Really"

" I mean, you have to be a special kind of an a-hole to shove a rejected meal in a lady's car, over pay her without even being aware of it and totally abandoning your phone pack including your sim pack and other useful stuffs, yet you're totally relaxed about it.
Are you overly this forgetful or you're just carefree?"

I was unaware of how large the crack in my face had appeared until she halted.
I wasn't sure if she thought I overpaid her without knowing it.

Was she thinking I was unaware of the currency conversion yet?
And being the good Samaritan, she wanted to return the excess or probably because she thought I was an ass-hole for dropping the meal unnoticed. I doubted her reasons.

"I wasn't being carefree Miss Lady, I knew I overpaid you, come-on you treated me well so take it as a tip and about the meal, I guess you weren't smart enough so you got tricked" I chuckled as I was making merry out of the conversation.
