"What?"She asks her best friend as she takes a scoop of his chocolate ice cream.He pouts and steals some from her cup.She laughs
"Anyway...I was wondering if you have a boyfriend yet?"Adrien asks,curious
"Why do you ask?"Marinette asks,confused.Maybe he wants to be her boyfriend!To be completely honest-ish,Marinette may or may not have a tiny,miniature,small,microscopic,huge crush on Adrien.But,she isn't ready for a boyfriend,she still wants to be free.
"Just curious"He shrugs
"Well,No"Marinette shakes her head
"Why not?"Adrien asks confused
"Because,I don't really want or need one.I still want to be free or something"Marinette shrugs
"Huh"Adrien says as he continues to eat his ice cream.

"So,do have a significant other?"She asks him
"No"Adrien answers

"Why are you surprised?"Adrien asks confused
"Because!You're a model!Girls are all over you!"She exclaims doing weird hand gestures.
Adrien laughed
"That doesn't mean that I like any of them and I don't want one at the moment"

"Well,why don't you want a girlfriend?"Marinette asks
"I don't need one"He says
"Why not?"
"Because you don't need a boyfriend"Adrien shrugged,and glanced at Marinette,smirking.
She turned red and slapped his arm.
He laughed.
They sat on the bench,only the sound of their breathing and the children playing nearby were present.
"You know what?"Marinette asks,breaking the peaceful silence
"What?"Adrien asks
"Maybe I do want one"She says
Adrien looked at her confused
"A boyfriend"she corrects and Adrien nods,getting it.
"Well,Maybe I need a girlfriend"Adrien smiles at her
She rolls her eyes,they lean closer...and closer...and closer...

Adrien's phone rang.The two pulled away from each other and blushed.He silently cursed and looked in his phone.He sighs.
"Sorry,Marinette.But,I have to go"Adrien smiles,he waves at her and walks away.
Marinette sits on the bench and ponders a bit.
"Did that just happen?"She asks herself
"Well we didn't exactly kiss.But,we were close enough to"
She sighs dreamily at the sky.
