WHO? ; CHAPTER TWO
"I'm so hungry!" Yoojung whined, flailing her arms everywhere, kicking her legs under the table. "Shut up kid, we aint got any food here. Yet, we don't whine like you," Jimin pointed to her with his fork then stabbing the rabbit meat he hunted on the days before. It was small—to feed the three of them until they're full? Hell no. It was only two days after she was found by them at the road. As Jimin said, since she's healing she started to show her bratty side. "Don't be so harsh on her, Jimin. Its good to be nice for once," Jungkook glared at the boy beside him before picking up the meat with his fork and put it on the girl's plate. "Wow, thank you, oppa! You're so nice compared to this ahjussi in front of me," she squinted her eyes at Jimin at the mention of 'ahjussi'. He could only sigh.
"How old are you?" Jungkook focused on Yoojung as she colored the apple image on the coloring book that Jungkook managed to find inside the apartment. The apartment had a nursery room for a baby—with a crib and such—so it was no surprise there was some kids toys in the apartment. "Eight," she answered, still focusing on the red—rainbow apple. "Oh, I'm seventeen! We can be best friends! You can with Jimin too!" he excitedly exclaimed.
"You wish, kid."
Jimin came into the living room with a cup of water in his hands, settling himself on the couch. "I wasn't even planning to anyway,' she simply said, putting the color pencils aside, lifting the book. "Look! I colored an apple!" she showed the book to Jungkook, he gave her a smile while saying "good job!". "Whatever guys, I'm going hunting. I'll be sure to bring back some food for us to live on the next few weeks," he picked up his backpack, reload his gun, picking up the bow and arrows that was scattered on the kitchen counter top. "Without me?" Jungkook suddenly stood up from the floor. "Yeah—you take care of the kid. If you go along, she's gonna have to come along too. It's dangerous out there," he stopped to look at the latter, hand resting on the door knob.
"Well then, good luck out there."

He whistled while walking through the woods. Jimin intended on catching a deer which was a tough job, but he hoped to feast some good meat that night. "This place looks empty—" as he was saying, a crunching sound was heard—almost as something stepped on a fallen tree branch. His ears perked up, crouching. "It has to be a deer—it has to," he began to slowly walk to the noise. Reaching for an arrow from behind, he kept the arrow end on the string, ready to shoot and anything that moved.
He saw a big rock and crouched behind it. "Oh shit, its the real deal. A deer!" he tried to keep his voice low, plus minimizing the talking. He positioned the arrow to hit on its stomach. "Please, please," he mentally crossed his fingers. Releasing the arrow, it did his expectation—the arrow hit it on the stomach, exactly where he wanted it to be. But, the deer ran away and there was no way he could catch a fucking deer. It was fast, in a few seconds, it was out of his sight. "Jimin, I know you could do better than that," he spoke to himself, sighing before running to catch the deer. It was pointless to chase it, but he wanted to give the girl a full meal for her to be full. Not wanting to hear her whines much longer.
He chased after the deer, it was fast. Everytime he stopped where the deer stopped, it would ran off again. He groaned while stopping beside a tree, one hand rested on his knee as he panted hard. The other hand was resting on the tree trunk. "It must've gone there," he continued to walk, he was tired running. He walked, slowly regaining his posture back and started running lightly. He came across a cabin and saw blood trails from the shot he made on the deer earlier. "Got you now," he smirked, pulling out his bow, steadily. If something comes up on his face, he got his bow ready.
"Meal for today—" he stayed silent as he watch the deer slowly dying."What? I didn't kill it yet. Who did this?" he examined the body, hovered his hands over the deer's body. "This isn't my arrow," he cocked an eyebrow, before—
"Hands above your head and step away from the deer!"
It was a girl voice, and it was a stern one. "Step away from the deer, now." Jimin felt the head of a gun on the back of his head. With that, he slowly got up, hands above his head, as instructed. The gun was detached and he could hear her steps getting further. Just as he thought she had left him, her voice, yet again, strikes. "Now, turn around."
Jimin turned around, he met the most beautiful eyes he had ever laid eyes on. "What you looking at? Tell me why you're here," she stretched her hands further, the gun was coming close to him. "Didn't you hear me? Tell me why you're here!" she cocked up the gun in her hands, making Jimin jerked up and held his hands higher in the air. "Okay, okay! I was hunting for the deer and it led me here! I really have no intention to creep up on you!" he assured, eyes widen in panic. If he was going to be shot to death, he wouldn't want for him to be shot by a girl!
"I'm looking for medicines too! I have a little girl who has been shot back home!"
She furrowed her eyebrows, "And how am I suppose to believe you?"
"I'll show you. And I'll give you anything you want."
"Anything?"
"Yes, anything!"
She held on the gun in her hands, "Okay, I'll give you some medicines and half of the deer but you have to give me some food and ammos. Deal?"
"Deal."
She finally lowered her gun, carefully stuffing it on the back pocket of her jeans. She didn't want it to trigger. "So uh, what's your name?" Jimin asked as he crouched, taking care of the deer. "And why do even care? Does this has to do with anything?" she rolled her eyes, dragging the deer back inside the cabin. It was empty. "Whoa, you live in here? Its kinda empty—how do you even survive?" he tried to switch on the lights, pushing the switch on and off. It didn't open whatsoever. "I have my ways. You?" she grabbed a rock on the counter top and started to sharpen her machete. "We have our ways too, I suppose."
"We?"
"Yes, we. I have a friend back there. We've been in this apocalypse since forever."
"Mine died a few days ago," her eyes was still on the machete, slowly started to lose interest on it. "She died trying to save me," she looked at the latter with almost-teary eyes. "Well, she didn't die of nothing. She died trying to save you. I guess that's good," he turned away, he didn't want to make the girl sad. Changing the topic he spoke up, "Let's get the deer done with."
After a good hour—or less, she stuffed the deer in a sack she found underneath the counter. "This ones for you. I guess it can feed up to five people—I'm not sure," she threw the sack, Jimin caught it, a 'hmph' sound was heard as he caught it. "So, about your food and ammos—"
"Lead me to it."
"Aye, aye captain."
