The familiar and aromatic scent of coffee swifts against my nostrils and I inhale it deeply, loving how it has become part of my 'oxygen'. The shop was desolate, with only few of the customers chatting either about business or gossip and the shop looks sparkling clean.

What adds more to the pleasant surroundings was the fairly audible classical music as the background. Clutching Insomnia written by the one and only legendary; Stephen King against my chest, I trudge to the non-crowded cashier, already knowing what I would usually order since this is one of my hideout spots and considering I am their regular customer.

"Hey Kitty. How are you doing today?" Zach the barista that I have known since he started working here greeted me with his endearing smile.

He had been given me nickname Kitty since the start of our friendship because of my ridiculous obsession in cats and the name had stuck to me until the whole neighborhood calls me Kitty. Cats are the most perfect and lovable, furry creature that God had create on this green earth. I can't help myself around them; I just have to touch them if I see one.

"I'm good thank you for asking. Yourself?" I asked him while he was wiping off his hands from the towel.

"Well aside from Tiffany won't stop pinching my ass, making Zach Junior here become Sparta, I'm absolutely fantastic." He said, emphasizing Tiffany's action so that she could hear.

"It's not my fault you're the one that's having the booty around here okay. Hey Kitty." she laughed and smiled at me while blending what could be seen a Green Tea Frappuccino.

I stifled a giggle watching these two lovers teasing each other and showing affection no matter where they are.

I want that.

"So, the usuals?" Zach snapped me back to reality and I smiled, nodding to agree my order.

"Alright Kitty, you just sit at your fav spot and I'll send your beverage in a sec" Zach said shooting me a wink in the process after I gave him my card to swipe as payment.

I mouthed him thank you after retrieving my card and walked towards my one and only place I'd be sitting every time I enter the coffee shop – at the corner of the shop beside the glass wall where I can watch pedestrians walk their way or passing by, staring at all kinds of people with all kinds of demeanor.

After comforting myself on the red cushion, folding my legs up on it and putting on my glasses, I buried my face in the legendary masterpiece and I got so lost in the story I didn't notice Zach's presences serving my drink. I was so fascinated by the style of King's writing in every of his book especially when there are scenes that you can really feel that you are a part of the book.

Like come on, its fiction!

I love this book because it has connection with Greek which equally apart of horrifying past or spirits. I have been a fan of Greek mythology since it existed in my life and until this day I don't even know why I'm so keen about it. I don't recall having any ancestors or past blood line from Greek though.

I cringed at the part where Atropos is torturing Ralph by showing how Ralph's taking Natalie's life in such a brutal way in the future, yet knowing Ralph with his strong heart and bravery he got to solve the difficulties even though they are darting into his life like AK-14 gun.

"Excuse me miss" a voice abruptly appeared in front of me and I put my head up to see who does it belongs too.

He was holding a take away cup, stood, according to my guessing around 6 ft tall, his hair was tousled with a shade of dark brown, almost to black, dark brown eyes, and I couldn't help myself to stare at how his white button up shirt with black tie clung perfectly around his fit torso especially when he rolled up his sleeve up to his elbow, showing off his muscular arm. He had this prominent jaw line with light stubble that just adds on to his attractiveness.
