The sun shined in through the window and into my eyes. As I woke up I woke up Sakura too. "Morning Saraka..." She said tiredly. "Morning Sis! We have a mission today!" I squealed. She moaned with irritation and got up. I got up and put on my clothes and packed my bags. I didn't know what to pack so I just packed what I needed.

As we walked out of the house, Sasuke and Naruto were sitting on a bench outside. "Finally, we've been waiting for a while!" Naruto shouted as Sasuke shrugged. "Sorry guys..." Sakura said sadly. I looked at them and shrugged. "I was having trouble getting ready." I said smiling. As we were walking down the road to the hokage office, Naruto said, "I will be sitting up there one day!" I face-palmed as the others weren't effected.

When we got to the door of the Hokage's office, I knocked. I heard the frail old man's voice say, "Come on in!" I opened the door and let everyone in. I closed the door behind me and walked towards the group. "So, the members of Team 7 are all here except the Sensei?" He said. I nodded. Then out of a cloud of smoke, Kakashi appeared and was reading his book.

"You called?" Kakashi said. He looked up and noticed us. "Oh yeah, the team is going on a mission. Hope you like this one Naruto. It's way better than rescuing any cats. I pulled major strings for this."

Then Sarutobi called in the mission giver. The door opened and a drunk old man stumbled in. His eyes widened as his eyes landed on us. "I'm getting escorted by little kids?!" The man exclaimed. "Yes, but I'm here too." Kakashi said pretty pissed off by what the man said. "So, a group of ten year old kids and a amateur adult. Even better." He said. I gave the man a death glare. The Hokage instructed us to escort the man in one piece back to the Land of Waves.

[Time Skip!]

As we left the village we stumbled upon a puddle in the middle of the path. "Hey, Kakashi. Am I being paranoid or is there a puddle that isn't supposed to be there." I said scratching my head. "Get back Saraka!" Kakashi said. I looked behind me to see the puddle was gone, but two huge ninja were where it was. I jumped back to the team and took a fighting stance.

The ninja released a chain from their hands and wrapped it around Kakashi. "... Do it!" One of the ninja said. The squeezed their chains and shredded Kakashi into nothing. Sakura and Naruto were completely shocked. Sakura had a tear forming in her eye. "Kakashi Sensei!?" Naruto yelled. 

The two flashed behind Naruto as he was completely in shock. He didn't move. "Now it's your turn!" One of them said. Naruto gasped as Sasuke jumped in to save him. Sasuke threw a shuriken into the chain. It flew right into the tree stump. Then he threw a kunai knife into the shuriken's hole to make sure that they didn't brake free.

They released the chain and rushed for Naruto. One split off and ran for Sakura and Tazuna. "Stay behind me!" She said. The ninja was about to attack when me and Sasuke raced for Sakura. Then out of nowhere, Kakashi grabbed the ninja by the neck with the other under his arm.

"Hi..." Kakashi said. Sakura's eyes lit up once she saw him okay and unharmed. Sasuke made the stupidest face ever. Naruto looked confused. "Huh, but he was.... What?!" Naruto said looking between Kakashi and the old body of Kakashi that was now a pile of logs. Substitution.

"Naruto, sorry I didn't step in right away. I didn't mean for you to get hurt, I just didn't think you'd freeze up like that." Kakashi said. "Nice job Sasuke very smooth. You too Sakura." He looked over at me. You did well Saraka, not only with trying to protect you team but also with finding the puddle." He said. I smiled.

Naruto looked at Sasuke as if he did something wrong. "Hey..." Sasuke said to Naruto. "Y.. yeah?!" He replied. "You'r not hurt are ya', Scaredy Cat." Naruto was completely pissed off. "SASUKE!!!" Naruto yelled as he began running. "Naruto..." Kakashi said stopping Naruto in his tracks. "Try not to move or the poison will move quicker..." I said finishing what Kakashi was gonna say. "It's in your blood and we need to open it to get it out so don't move."

"By the way Mr. Tazuna..." Kakashi said coolly. "Yeah? What?" He said. "... We need to talk." Kakashi tied the ninja up to the tree. "They're Chunin from the Village Hidden in the Mist. They were taught relentless attack. They keep fighting no matter the sacrifice." What the hell!? 

"How did you know about our ambush?" One of the ninja say. "A puddle on a clear day, and it hasn't rained in weeks." Tazuna began, "In that case, why did you leave the Genin to do the fighting?" Kakashi said, "I could have taken them out quickly but learned nothing. They on the other hand would have learned. Also I stood back too learn who their target was, and what they were after." He finished.
