Lights were blaring in my eyes once we rushed into the hospital, Jack had hit his head really bad on the nightstand. He had blood all over. I don't even know what caused this to happen. Why now? When his trip was almost over?
Time passed by quickly. Pretty soon Jack had made it into his own recovery room after getting bandaged and x-rayed. I was forced into the waiting room.
And by then, time couldn't be any slower.
I waited and waited. My foot tapping the ground rapidly. And soon a nurse came out.
"Mark? You can come in." I immediately stood up and rushed to the room she pointed to. I opened the door and stood next to his bed.
Jack was still unconscious.
I pulled up a chair next to him and sat with my head down.
I mean, he's not gonna die. But, I still feel bad for him. He is probably in a lot of pain.
I sat there from what seemed like hours. I looked up and he was still unconscious. It was one in the morning so I decided to leave.
I couldn't sleep at all.
The next day I visited him again. But to my luck. He was still out.
"Excuse me, are you Sean's friend?" A doctor asked me.
"Uhm, yes?" I responded.
"Jack is in a coma and-"
No.
Stop, this must be a dream right? You cant get into a coma from passing out and hitting your head. No, Jack will wake up. He will.
I blurred out everything the doctor was saying. I couldn't believe it. How long? Will he die? Will he forget everything?
"How?" I asked.
"Well, Sean has always had problems with his mental health, and it seems his brain shut down from it. The wound on his head doesn't help either. So he may be in a coma for a couple of days to even a couple of months."
So, Jack is stuck in America, for maybe a couple months? What about his Youtube, or his family? This sucks so hard.
I turned around to face Jack once again. He was breathing slowly. I squeezed his hand.
"Wake up soon, ok bud?" I wished him. And then I left.
The ride home was long. I couldn't stop the deep, sad feeling in my heart. Jack was in a freaking coma. This blows.

I heard voices. And worry. Then I gelt a hand touch mine.
"Wake up soon, okay bud?"
Then, I put effort into opening my eyes.
I saw sunlight, but no one was there.
I was alone once again.
"Hello?" I asked, sitting up.
"Sean, lay down. Do you know what happened?"
Honestly, I didn't remember. I was sleeping and I just woke up in a hospital.
"N- no?"
"You fainted early yesterday morning and hit your head on a nightstand. You were transported here, and we thought you would be in a long coma."
"But apparently not." I chuckled and leaned back. But the doctor had already left.
A few moments later, Mark came in. He ran up to me and engulfed me into a hug. I squeezed really tight.
"Hi Mark." I smirked.
