Saige's P.O.V.
Nick and I have been dating for 5 months and its been the best 5 months of my life. Nick asked me if I wanted to go to the game tonight, I said yes of course.
Nick and the team where playing agents the Philadelphia Flyers, the dirtiest team in the league, tonight. "Good luck to night babe," I said giving him a kiss "thanks, I'll see you later" he said kissing me again then walking back to the locker room. I walked up to the WAG's suit, "hey guys" I said to the few girls that where already there, "Hey Saige, this is Tiffany, Adam Pelech's girlfriend, she's new" Aryne Fuller said, "hey, it's nice to meet you" I said "you too" she smiled.
The game started and it was already violent, "oh god, I feel like somethings going to happen" I said, next thing I know Nick got smashed into the boards, his left lag twisting in a way that wasn't normal, "fuck!" I jumped up after I didn't see Nick move, "see you guys later" I said as walked out the door. I ran down to the locker room to make sure Nick was okay. I heard Nick screaming in pain before I even got into the locker room, "hey, hey, hey, calm down will ya?" I said as I took his hand, "bloody hell! This hurts!" he yelled again, "it looks like you broke your leg Nick," the team's doctor said leaving the room for a few minutes. "Why did this have to happen to me?" he asked looking over to me, "I don't know baby, but don't worry you'll be fine" I said kissing his forehead, "I hope so," he sighed.
They took Nick to the hospital to get a cast on his leg, the doctors had put Nick on something to ease the pain, "hey Saige, hey Saige, guess what, guess what" Nick said shaking his head from side to side, "what Nick?" I laughed "I love yoooouuuuu" he sang, did he really just say that? I mean we've been dating for 5 months but this is the first time that he's ever said this, "I love you too Nick" I said kissing his head.
Its been 4 months since Nick broke his leg. Ever since Nick told me that he loves me, we've been saying "I love you" to each other every day.
