"What's this?" Jamie asked as he picked up the SB 11 Spirit box picking it up out of my back pack "that's the SB 11 Spirit box, it's just a lot of white noise but it makes it easier for the spirits to communicate. Now, will you please stop taking my stuff out of my bag? I have to leave soon" I told him with a small hint of announcing in my voice as I grabbed the box out of his hand, "I just still can't believe that your a paranormal investigator" he said in disbelief "well believe it, I have to get ready for and investigation tonight" I said smacking his had away from my camera, "can I come with you?" He asked "I have to ask the guys first but I'm sure it will be ok" I told him, picking up my phone I called Zak Bagens (yes Zak from Ghost Adventures)

(Phone convo)

Zak: hey Y/N what's up?
Me: hey Zak, my boyfriend Jamie wants to know if it's ok if he tag along tonight?
Zak: yeah sure, we could use an extra hand with things
Me: ok thanks, and when do you want me to be there with some of the equipment?
Zak: would it be ok if you came right now?
Me: yeah sure I'll be there in 10 minutes
Zak: ok see you soon, bye
Me: bye

(End of phone convo)

"What did they say?" Jamie asked bouncing up and down on the couch like a kid in a candy shop "yeah you can come, but I'm just warning you now, when you do this you might get scared" I told him. Truth is this is a scary ass job, I mean sometimes one place will be so bad that I have to stay at a hotel for a few days because I don't want any of that shit to harm Jamie. "Puff, me scared no way" he says, trying to act tough. "Ok what ever you say big guy. Now let's go, Zak wants us at the abandoned psychiatric hospital now" I told him picking up some bags "the abandoned what?" I heard him say loudly as I had already started walking out the door and to my black Range Rover, I quietly laughed but didn't say anything.

10 minutes later

Jamie and I walked up to Zak, Aaron, Billy and Jay "hey guys, this is Jamie he's here to help" I said "hey" Jaime said with a small smile "ok so the most active spots in this hospital are the cafeteria, the chapel, and there's a room and that's Jim's room, ok now let's get this investigation started" Zak said, we started getting our cameras ready and I looked over at Jamie and saw that he looked a little scared "Jamie? You ok?" I asked the guys stopped what they were doing to look at him, "yeah just a little nervous" he said "ok if you feel or see anything just say somethings to one of us ok" I tell him, I hand him his camera and kissed him on the cheek, "you'll be fine" I whispered in his ear, he nodded, we went into groups, Zak and Aaron, me and Jamie. Jamie and I went to the cafeteria "I'm going to start recording on the recorder" I told the camera, "is anybody here?" I asked waiting a few seconds to ask the next question, "what's your name?" I asked waiting again, "do you know the name of the guy standing next to me right now" I asked waiting, "ok I'm going to see if we cough anything" I said looking at Jamie, we listened to see if we could hear anything, there was nothing until it got to the question of 'do you know the name of the guy standing next to me right now' we got q voice that said in a deep voice "Jamie" I looked over at Jamie, " holy shit" we said at the same time, "ok I'm going to get the SB 11 spirit box" I said to my camera. I got it out and turned it on, "is anybody here!" I yelled over the white noise, we waited a few seconds then a voice came through "help me" it said, "are you hurt" Jamie yelled, a different voice came through "he's lying!" It said, "how did you die?" I yelled, right now we were getting really good responses and I was getting really excited, "murder" the first voice said, "who killed you?" Jamie yelled, "the other guy" the same voice said, we asked a few more questions but didn't get any answers, I turned the spirit box off and looked around, I turned around and I saw a dark mass in the shape of a tall man, I screamed and fell down on my ass, "Y/N! Are you ok?" Jamie asked helping me up "holy shit! There... There... Was a person standing there!" I said breathing heavily, Zak and Aaron ran over to us "what happened" Aaron said "there was a..a person standing there" I told them hugging Jamie, "ok why don't we head down to base" Jamie said I nodded my head. We were sitting down at base watching the screens "Jamie would you be ok if you went on a solo investigation?" Zak asked him "what's a solo investigation?" He asked "you go in and do an investigation on your own" I told him, "ok, I guess" he said. We all watched him walk out and looked back at the screens to watch him, "Jamie's a really good guy, even though he's scared shitless right now" Aaron said pointing to the screen were Jamie was talking to himself "haha yeah he is" I said, "why am I doing this? I should just stick to hockey, yeah hockey, hockey's good," Jamie said to him self next thing I know Jamie got pushed from behind "WHO THE FUCK PUSHED ME?!" Jamie yelled "I'll get him" I said grabbing a camera and walking out, when I got to Jamie he was still trying to calm down, "Jamie, are you ok?" I asked, "yeah I'm fine" he said walking over to me "I just want to get out of here" he told me "well it's your lucky day, the investigation is over, let's go" I said, we walked out and helped the guys pack up. "How do you do this? It scares the living shit out of me" he asked "I don't know I just do it" I told him we went home and slept for the rest of the day, seeing as we stayed up all night and Jamie had a game tomorrow.
