----------------------------------------------
3 years later;
"And if 10 divided -", ugh, when will she shutup! I want to go home already. It's 2:56pm, only four minutes till home time, but yet I sit and enjoy the amazing, (not), joy of Maths.
Normally, I would love to learn, but today I feel totally out of the mood. Recently, the bullying and stuff has calmed down, but sometimes I still get a few dirties, and casually a laugh or stare. Honestly, I don't care because once I go home today, I can finally sleep for two whole days.
Friday, oh, yes how I love you!
I spent the next four minutes packing, and chewing on this mint gum, my fav, then the bell eventually rang. "Finally!" I whispered to myself.
"Remember to do your homework everyone, excersizes 12-0 and 12-1!" The teacher imediately called out before the class all receited, "Yes miss."
Yes miss my ass, I'm sleeping in all weekend.
Grabbing my bag and heading out of the classroom, after the others, I ignored all the looks or words I saw or heard while speedwalking to get home.
Home, home, home. I thought. Home. Home. Yes, home sweet home. We can do this! I kept saying to myself before ran into my bus, quickly showing the driver my bus card.
After a few minutes of searching, I found an empty seat, and sat alone, waiting for the bus to drive, and then yes, I'll be home at last!
******************************
Two more stops till I get home, but the bus just immediately stops, and is picking up someone. This doesn't happen very often so of course, everyone stopped whatever they were doing and looked at the person who has just stepped on.
There, infront of all these our eyes, was a guy, maybe probably teenaged, he was wearing dark, dull clothing. A big, black hoodie, with dark, gray jeans. Also black and white converse. I couldn't see his face due to the hoodie which was suprizingly on his head, even in this humid weather.
People looked and stared, for a couple of seconds then they went back to whatever they were doing.
I heard a few people giggle and someone whispered the word, 'emo'. I instantly frowned at the hearing of this word. Why was everyone so bloody judgemental?
This school, or maybe infact the whole world, was so messed up. Sometimes I just wish I get get into that peanut sized brain of theirs, and maybe, just maybe, be able to fix it up.
Besides people, the teenage guy obviously had to take a seat on the bus..
Well of course, out of my luck, the guy came and sat next to me. Well, I still have to be nice.
"Hi." I blurted out.
The guy looked to his right, or my left, and studied me, carefully. I have no idea what he was doing, he just stayed there looking at me for a couple of seconds then he returned his focus to his phone again.
Wait, I don't even get a reply back..? Maybe he was mute? Or maybe he doesn't like me already. Ugh, who cares. There was only like 2 minutes untill I got to my stop anyways.
Once the bus stopped, I stood up, and to my suprize, the guy did too. We both walked to the front of the bus, (not together, duh), and then we both got off at the same stop?
That's weird, I've never seen him here before. My neighbour hood was one where people knew eachother, but I've never even heard of this guy.
I sighed, stepping out of the bus.
"Are you new here?" I asked when the bus drove away.
He didn't reply, he just walked away, the opposite direction I was headed, so I just shouted out to him,
"Nice to meet you too!"
He just continued walking not even looking back at me.
Wow, nice way to meet someone. I don't think I'll forget that meeting, nope.
And, with that, as did I, walk away, the other way, if that even makes sense.
*****************************
I put the key into the lock, and twisted it beeming with excitement.
The door unlocked, and I quickly rushed inside my beautiful, amazing, house taking out the keys and slamming the door shut.
I ran upstairs, threw my bag on the floor of my room and litrally jumped onto my bed, laying down and looking up at the ceiling.
Fridays are the only thing that bring me joy. Finally, two days where I get to do whatever I want, and what I love.
"Happy to be home, huh?"
I quickly shoot my head up to look at her leaning at the door frame.
"MUM!" I yell, getting up and I ran to her giving her a big hug.
How I missed her, her warmth, her amazingness. She was in the hospital all week, finally getting to see her again is a good feeling, because now I know that there's a person in my life who I actually love.
She laughed and hugged be back. "Hey honey. Happy that I'm home?"
"Yes, as ever! My weeks been horrible. I missed you so much."
She frowned and let go of me, "Come on, lets go make dinner. The doctors say I'm allowed to stay home for a few days, I've been feeling better."
I smiled and felt great after what she said, perfect. "Yay!" I half scream.
**********************
I finish the food on my plate and let out a small burp, Mum and I both laughed.
I took the last sip of my drink, and put the glass down. "So how are you feeling?" I asked.
She looked quite sad, and had only eaten half of what was on her plate.
"Mum?" I said, confused and scared.
"Honey, there's something I have to tell you, and this is really important so you have to listen up."
