(Tess' POV)

"Be honest, Harry. Do you want this kid?" I asked quietly, stroking his hair. Harry had ceased his crying and was now sniffling with his head in my lap.

"No... I don't want to me a father yet. Not with Tisdale." He sat up to look at me with puffy, red eyes. I sighed and leaned into him, resting my head into the crook of his neck. He too let out an exasperated breath before leaning back into the couch, my head still on his shoulder. "I won't be a deadbeat, though." He finally said, "I'm not just gonna lit this kid be fatherless."

"You're right. You should do the responsible thing. Will it suck having to give up things you love, time ans money? Hell yeah. But everybody's got baggage. This is yours."

"I'm not going to look at my child as a burden." Harry frowned.

"It wasn't the baby I was talking about." I chuckled, "It's Tidale. She is now a permanent part of your life, whether you like it or not." He let out another long sigh.

"God almighty... what will I tell the lads? My mum?" He placed his head in my hands. I rubbed his back gently.

"You've got to tell them the truth."

Harry nodded. Because he knew I was right.

We walked into the house. The familiar foyer smelled freshly cleaned and the white floor sparkled. The boys were no where to be seen, but the faint sound of laughter and a guitar drifted through the air.

Harry insisted I came with him for moral support as he told the guys about his little... predicament. A predicament that was now all of their predicaments.

It was two days after Harry told me. He'd already phoned his mother and explained it to her. After crying a bit nd lecturing him, she promised to be as supportive as she could. Harry was still a bit glum about the phone call. He had also sent his very first check to Tisdale. One of many, I imagine.

We found the four boys in the basement, sat in couches, drinking sodas and chatting. They looked to the door one by one as we came in.

"Hey, mate. Tessa-boo." Louis called, making kissy noises over his shoulder. Harry and I stayed silent.

"L-lads... I need a word with you." Harry spoke up, slowly. The tone of his voice made Niall's playing stop as he joined the others' puzzled stares in Harry's direction.

(Harry's POV)

My stomach was in my throat. I desperately tried to swallow it back down as I sat on the end of the sofa beside Louis, the rest of my mates staring at me with his same, puzzled expression. The scent of lilac and rosemary filled my nose in the form of Tess' familiar perfume as she became present on the arm of the sofa beside me.

I let out a shaky breath and her warm hand found my neck as I did, rubbing reassuring circles into skin.

"What is it, lad?" Louis knit his eyebrows together. I covered my face with my hands, then ran them harshly through my hair in frustration. 'They're your best mates, Harry. They'll support you.' I let telling myself that, but apart of me didn't believe it.

I looked at Tess, who's hand still rubbed my neck. Her grey eyes were staring intently at me. She nodded her head for me to explain to them. It was a silent confirmation that she would be here for me, no matter the outcome. She had become so courageous.

It was one of the many thing I loved about her.

"I- I don't know how to say this..." my voice was shaky. The guys' expressions changed into worry.
