The burning under my collar bone subsided. I leaned back against the monster carrying my small frail body. My eyes are droopy and my head is pounding.
I want my mommy. I want my best friend and we can go play in the lake that's near my house. I can watch him shift into his cool form. I can't shift yet, I have to wait until I'm 5, daddy says.
I started sobbing from the pain that is still lingering, and the fear that is coursing through me. He hurt my daddy and he hurt me. He even hurt the nice Angel who was making me feel better when daddy was away fighting the monsters.
"What did you do to her?!" The Angel screamed.
"It's my mark. People who find this child's body will know who did it. They will know not to go against me. They will know I don't show mercy, no matter how small or fragile.
All werewolf kind will bow before me. I have no fear over this species. No mercy."
I felt his body broaden with his words, like he was proud of them. "They will know the power I have over the werewolf kind, because you know, I killed Alpha Deans mate and daughter."
"I Gerver, killed the Luna and daughter of the most beloved pack. One of the most strongest. But, I will keep him alive. As the insanity of the pain eats at him he will regret what he took from me. The four kinds will see what I can do to somebody. They will all fear me, and that's why this little girls life has to come to end... unfortunately." He snickered.
"If anything it makes you weak! A coward!" The Angel gasped out.
"Killing an innocent. For what gain? For fear? To show what? That you can kill a defenseless baby?" I heard her laugh.
"No Gerver people will look to you as a coward. As nothing, but a scared coward who kills defenseless baby's, and sleeping women."
He refrained from saying his next words. I felt his upper body move up and down as he pondered her words.
I heard a gasp and then a loud laugh that shook me. I was going to throw up if he keeps shaking me like this. I can't move my left arm or else it will hurt my boo boo.
"What a great idea Elita!" He said brightly.
"What are you talking about."
"I won't kill her. Not yet at least. Yes, yes what a brilliant plan!
"When she reaches the age of my choosing, I will finish what I came here to do. Your right, killing her now is to easy, much to easy. When she's old enough is when I'll do it. That will truly show them my power I have."
"You will regret stalling this. I only get stronger. My allies only get larger. Each and everyday you will live in fear, wondering when I'll come for your beloved daughter." He yelled making me flinch at the insanity laced in his voice.
"And this mark on her chest will be a reminder to you all what I can do with the snap of my fingers. Will be a reminder to her of her fate."
With that I felt myself being thrown and a loud scream escape my small lips.
I was jerked to a stop as someone caught me. The pain that flared gagged me.
"Shh, baby. It's okay." I heard the familiar sounds of the Angel cooing in my ear.
I heard a couple of shouts, and then silence filled. I'm sobbing and clutching at what ever I can get my chubby four year old fingers on. I felt calmness and reassurance smother me and I relaxed in her arms.
She was stumbling somewhere and she fell to her knees.
"Dean. He's gone, Gervers gone." She repeated that a couple of times, but got no response.
