The island of Calpyso Ogygia, a shelter for men of the sea. Although a goddess was said to live on top this Island, that was centuries ago and now it is deserted. Only to be fueled by men's hopes and wonders.

Now an Island of rest and blest. It is said that to set foot on this island is the same as living the world of men and entering a sanctuary of the gods. A banquet of glory in the world of men...

But what lies beneath the secret of the Island? Is it as mythical as it was claimed to be or simply... life stops on the island and dreams are the only things that make up this mortal plane ...?

I... Who am I ? Is this the beginning or the end ?

"There was a time when I beleived that dreams are the onset of time. Which is why I'm always bothered by those such things.

Dreams are what make up my sleep. Those feelings that I felt from sleep almost always shows whenever I wake up. Fear, longing,

love, resentment, anger, wrath, chaos. They always leave me breathless, hungry yet satisfied. Why do dreams hold some kind of meaning?

Why is there such things as Nightmare? Clairvoyantic Dreams? All of those maybe answered by a single person.

and he himself created the cause and effect of the universe..."

Someway or the other I find myself addicted to Dreams. A lowly person interested in beautiful

things and yet none has been given to me.Love was taken, friendships severed, and worse of all

devoid of all that would make oneself a true person. Devoid of an Identity. A living entity without

a name. How or why did I became like this? Or rather why me? why not someone else who did greater

misdeeds than me. I do not know the answer and yet, I feel like I've done something much worse than

killing someone. But my memories betray me. The only thing written in this devoided mind of mine is

a simple scenario. A simple conversation with what seems to be is my friend.

In this place I exists there is some little thing I have done that no normal human can do,

A scattered memory yet with common sense. A unique trait even among those who've existed as the humankind.

Back to the matter at hand, I gained a unique 'ability' in which I could remember everything that happened

to me after I've ceased to exist.

It all started with me running...

I was late. It was the first time in my life as a student to be this late. My memories are all

foggy besides the one thing on my mind. I have to meet that girl, we have to talk. I don't know if it

is because I like her or to shot her down but I definitely need to meet her. I was running along the coastline

of a white sand beach. The sun was high in the air frolicking and sending his waves of heat across the beach,

along the beach are palm trees lined up like an army of green beretted soldiers saluting their Generals. Between

those trees are sands, heaps and heaps of white sand that seem to extend beyond the palm trees. I neither cared

nor admired the beauty of this place, to me it was something despicable. Something sinister, like it's meant to

capture and keep me beside the sea. I sighed as I dashed through several umbrellas and beach towels. Layed

upon each other like a barricade against a particular figure far into the horizon. I clenched my fist and mouthed

a curse while I continued to trek towards the figure in the sand.

"Huff Huff Huff... I'm here ... Huff Huff" I said panting and wheezing as I slowly approached the girl.

Her long curly hair flowing through the sea breeze. She wore an orange two-piece swimsuit that greatly complemented her

skintone-a dark brown color that somehow managed to excite me.She was beautiful yes but somehow... I hated her.

She was hunched over near the sea her back turned to me. There was no reaction. 0, nothing. So I shouted a little

louder.

"Hey I'm here! <yet the name left me, my memory faded back into the abyss in my head. Let's get on with this already." I blurted loudly shocking her. Her little body trembled as she

slowly turned her head towards me. Her eyes were full of tears and yet it radiated beauty. Her amber-coal eyes melted my strong

ego, I was tempted to drop my act and hug her but ... I clearly see her now. Her beauty was as stunning as ever.

Half of her foot was buried in the sand and the other was on land. Her petite body made the swimsuit she's wearing look

erotic, or was it the other way around? Everything about her looked good especially her lips, they were trembling under the

hot sun. Her face reflected pain, longing, and helpness. I lost my composure and wrapped the polo that I was wearing around

her. I started digging at the spot where her foor was stuck. She muffled a cry. I coudln't understand what was happening.

This girl that I was supposedly went to meet doesn't recognize me but I know by heart. A beauty amidst the white dunes of

the sea.

"Who are you?" I asked the girl. No the right word would be a lady. A glorious black rose blooming amidst the sea of white roses.

Baffled the girl shook her head and mouthed something.

"I ... am..." she muttered then suddenly stopped as if she was doing something that broke the rules. She eyed me again, then let out

a short sigh of releif before finally lifting her foot. She started to walk but the moment she put weight on her other foot she fell down.

She looked at me with her embarassed face, like a little majestic puppy begging to be helped. I sighed as I helped her still repeating my

same question as before.

"So... who are you?" I asked again, this time a hint of authority entered my voice. She looked away, probably still embarassed of what happened.

"I... am..." she replied "I can't... say... it."

Huh? can't say it? That's somewhat weird. I blinked once then twice. No, she is someone i know but why can't she say it?

Or rather... why am I here?

"Try and remember..." A voice called upon at the back of my mind. A conscience... No, it must be the voice of reasoning...

"Escape this prison... You are not meant to be..." The voice continued... I braced for what was supposed to be said but then...

"Mathew... Please wake up."
