Binatukan ko siya.

"What?" sabi naman niya.

"Ayusin mo! gusto ko yung isa mong pangalan.." sabi ko naman.

"Sige na...please!" pagmakaawa ko.

Nagsmirk siya.

"Ang mga spoiled brat talaga!" sabi niya.

Sinuntok ko siya sa braso.

"I, Daniel Zobel, promise to love and to cherish, Kathryn..." ngiti niya.

"Seryoso na nga!" sabi ko.

I tapped my foot impatiently.

"Do we have to do this?" sabi niya at kinamot ang ulo niya.

"Oo!"

Nagsulat siya sa isang papel at inabot saakin.

I, Daniel Zobel, promise to help Kathryn Bartolome with her 'little problem' or 'life situation' or whatever. No matter what happens I will stand by her side as long as she keeps our dirty little secret. I will teach her to be the person she wants to be promising she WILL DO ALL THINGS I say. No one must know about this agreement or suffer the consequence.

"So is it the deal?" sabi niya at inextend ang kamay niya.

Naghesitate ako ng sandali.

Nagsmirk siya ulit.

"Chickening out babe?" tanong niya.

I shook my head.

I sighed.
