It starts off as bright
You feel you can see the light
A bright light in the night
Oh such a great sight
Celebrating like no tomorrow
Having a lot of shows
Seeing things as never slow
Some going with the flow
But then darkness comes
Feeling very glum
We start feeling dumb
Our body feeling numb
We start to crumble
The world becoming dull
Starting to mumble
Feeling painful
We have our ups and downs
Twists and turns
Smiles and frowns
But we sometimes feel we have a crown
We can start to crack
We can start to break
We can start to shake
And feel aches
But we can get through this
Even if we sometimes miss
Or we accidentally hiss
When the time comes, we feel bliss
