"Hey ,Mom" I greeted my mom over the phone.
"Hey, sweety. How's my Rosalie doing?" She asked sweetly.
"I'm okay. How's it going there for you?" I asked her.
"Everything's fine here , darling. I'm great. You don't sound so good. What's wrong? " she asked me.
Of course. She is gonna find out just by hearing my voice.
"Just sick , Mom. I just called to tell you that I'm getting on a flight to L.A. today" I smiled , eventhough she can't see it.
"That's wonderful" she exclaimed," Is your boyfriend coming too? I'm very eager to meet him" she asked curiously.
"He's not coming ,Mom. It's just me" I said in a low voice. I didn't wanna tell her what happened now. I'll tell her when I get there.
"Is everything alright, honey? You don't sound like you're just sick..."
"Mom" I cut her off.
"I'm great. See you soon , okay?"
"Okay. Bye"
"Bye" I said , hanging up and letting out a sigh.
I scrolled through my contacts to let my bestfriend-Dani know that I was coming home.
I heard a knock on the door and looked up to see that it was El who held some magazines in her hands.
"They're here, girl" she squealed," You look so damn good on the cover" she said sitting down next to me on the bed.
"I'm on the cover?" I was dumbstruck. You gotta be kidding me.
"Yes. You're on the cover of seventeen too" she exclaimed showing me the magazines.
