A/N: yes I know I'm late but hehe here it is. I've been off for 3 months for special reasons but I'm back but it doesn't mean I won't update :) enjoy this chapter.

Kaitlynn's POV:
I walked into Jaylyn's room and saw her on her phone, "Jay, I'm gonna go home since we're not going to swim anymore plus I'm really tired from all the jumping." She nodded and hugged me before I exited her room.

Before I left I wanted to say bye to Jay's mom. "Hey mama lindi, I'm gonna go home but I wanted to say thank you for letting me come with you guys." I said smiling, she walked over to me and give me a hug "it's my pleasure, make sure to come over tomorrow, we're gonna go swimming for sure, you guys just looked pooped out today that why we didn't go swimming today." I smiled and nodded "I'll be looking forward to that then, alright I'll see y'all tomorrow." I waived and walked out of the house.

I opened the front door to my house and shut it behind me. "mom! Dad! I'm home!" I went into the kitchen and saw a note on the counter
Dear Kait,
  We left for a emergency meeting in New York, we left some money in the cookie jar on the fridge. We'll be gone for a week, so you can go to Jaylyn's house whenever you want. We love you!

I frowned a bit, really? Now? Ugh. Oh well. I locked the doors and went upstairs to take a shower. I decided to shower in hot water to relive my stress.

I quickly got undressed and slowly got in getting used to the heat. When I come back from friends house I don't expect my parents to ditch without telling me. I thought rolling my eyes as I grabbed the towel and stepped out.

I walked into my room to find Jc lying on my bed. "Who invited you?" I said still slightly annoyed. He just smirks. Great. Kill me now. "Why you so grumpy?" He slyly replied eyeing me up and down, I realized what he was eyeing and backed up slowly. "Don't even think about it buddy."

He slowly made his way towards me still keeping eye contact, I turned away but was stopped with a pair of hands on my waist. "Stop! Let me get dressed!" He pulled me close and kissed my neck "aw come on, don't you want to have fun." I fell into his spell but quickly recovered.

I pushed away from him and ran into my room shutting the door behind me. I laughed evilly and ran into the closet and threw on some clothes.

"Okay open until now that you're done." I smiled and opened the door to see him leaning against the door frame. I turned around to hide my soon to be tomato face. Ugh he's so mesmerizing!

Hey beautiful readers, yes I know, it's been very long. Try to understand I have school and I was trying to focus on that but now that I'm back, I'm gonna try and keep updating as much as possible. I had to cut this chapter short because I want all the good stuff to happen further into the book...
