(First up, I must thank Miss VodkaJ for helping me with some of the storyline, as her character, the super bubbly Azazel is a huge part of the story. So thank chu)

It was late night on a week day. Thursday of all days. Thursday was rather special because it was the day before Friday. And Friday was the day before the start of the weekend. Ace enjoyed the weekend because it held his two most favorite days in the week: Saturday and Sunday. On these two days, Ace didn't have to go to school. Don't get the dude wrong, school was great, it was where he'd see his friends, but the weekend was the same, just minus the school work and classes.

But as mentioned, it was night. And right now, Ace was on the hunt. The grass in the forest rustled as a shadowy figure rustled through them. The unsuspecting deer, a peaceful animal, was nibbling on some of the said grass. It then shot its head upward, taking a step back as a pair of red eyes could be seen within the black shadows of the grass blades. Suddenly, the eyes lurched forward, and everything went black. The last thing the deer saw was those piercing, yet beautiful red eyes.

Ace had pounced on the animal, immediately slashing his claws out at it, thus ending its life. Circle of Life, deer eat grass, wolf eat deer. Ace Diamant Silver grinned down, as he saw blood slowly leak from its wounds. His silver fur, which was the trademark of his family, rustled as a faint wind blew by. The pack would be waiting, so he threw his head back and planted his two front paws on the dirt, as he let out an immense howl.

Ace howled, which was responded by three other howls, as his followers responded. Upon their reply, he walked off, dragging his freshly caught prize to a nearby tree, where six other deer lay in a pile. A make shift carrier, basically a set of thin, yet sturdy logs 'sewn' together by a huge leaf, we're under the carcasses. Ace pulled on it with his strong teeth, as he stopped upon reaching a clearing in the forest. Six other red eyes were visible in the darkness, as the young alpha sneered.

"How many did you get, Alpha? Seven? That's quite alot.."
One of them chuckled, with a hint of nervousness. Clyde had only gotten three.

"Lay off with the flattery. Let's just get these back to the den,"
Ace commanded, his tone rather forced, as he was still adapting to being the Alpha male.

But they dragged their hunting rewards back to the Wolf Pack Lair, a hidden area inside the deeper regions of the Wild Forest. The wolves all howled in harmony, while the hunters and their Alpha returned.

"Now hurry and Tale first bite, Ace. As Alpha you deserve it. And then hurry on bed. You have school tomorrow,"
Earl, a pack elder had advised Ace.

"Bah! Don't remind me. But yes, as you say, since you're right,"
Ace snarled. While he was the one in charge now, the young Alpha still was a teenager. And Earl was like a grandfather to the werewolf.

Ace ate his portion quickly, then cleaned up in the spring, the excellent warm water refreshing him. He then trudged off to his little cave and curled up, his eyes closing as the young lad fell asleep, getting ready for another day of school before his beloved weekend came.
