"Hotaru... You know yesterday, I saw a guy with a black wing looking at me.. The moment I look at him he turns away so I chased him.. Do you know who it is..??", I ask while we were walking to school.
"No... I am not sure, but I did hear something about black wings from Queen Rosaland".
"Really?!?".
"Yea, People with black wing are descendants of the Black dragon that use to live at the mountain beyond the castle. They make a dragon mark somewhere on their body, one day when the black dragon passes away. The descendants flew away and spread out around the world trying to fit in", Hotaru told me that story. I nod.
"I see.. But let say he is a dra-"
"Minami!! Hotaru!!", I was cut off by a voice in the distance. Hotaru an I looked and saw none other than Anku himself.
"Morning guys!", Anku greeted us.
"Morning!", Hotaru and I said in sync. We all walk together, while we were walking Anku ask,"Why are you guys always together in the morning? Do you guys live near each other?". Crap! I forgot I didn't tell Anku...
"Well.. Uhh.. You know..", I was trying to think of an excuse.
"Minami and I live together!", Hotaru said bluntly.
"Oh! I see, so you two live to- WAIT WHAT?!?", Anku yell, I cover his mouth with my hand.
"Keep it down!! Hotaru doesn't have a house to stay, so I let him stay in my big bro room!", I explain. I let go of him, and Anku let out a sigh of relief.
"Just don't do something stupid", Anku tease.
"A-Anku!!", I pout, Anku brush my cheek.
"Aww, isn't our Minami cute when she is mad??"
"Anku!!", he ran and I chase him, while Hotaru ran next to me, and we all head to school. Chasing each other.
In Class
"Okay, you have today and the weekend to study!", the teacher announce and student groan in annoyance.
I forgot today was Friday, Hotaru and I have been studying with Anku.... Well Anku was studying while Hotaru and I goof off. But I think we got it pretty good, Anku was great at being a sensei.
The lunch break bell rang and student when out as usual. Anku drag Hotaru and I at the school garden, to have lunch. "It hot out here!!!", Anku complain and took off his jacket.
"You're the one who brought us here!", Hotaru scold him. I was laughing, seeing them getting along. I looked over at Anku and notice a black mark on his left arm.
"Anku what is that..?", I ask while eating. Anku's eyes follow my gaze.
"Oh! This its a birthmark, my mom said I had it when she found me on her doorstep", Anku said. Anku reveal a black dragon, and hid it back.
Yes, Anku's parent found him in front of their house one night, they said Anku was always lonely and never talks to anyone in class. So one day I decide to talk to him, and who knew he would turn out to be my best friend.
"I see..", I was curious. If Anku is... Nahh I am I thinking?? We kept on eating and chatting, until the bell rang. We all went in and continue the boring lesson.
I looked out the window and wonder, What if Anku is cursed?!? Is that just a tattoo?!? Is Hotaru's story true?!? "WHAT IF IT TRUE?!?", I yell out, everyone turn tours me.
"What if what's true Minami?? Care to share...", the teacher ask.
"Uhh.. Nothing at all.. Hehehe", students snickered and giggle under their breath. Hotaru was trying his best not to laugh.
Ding! Dong! Ding!
Finally! School was over!! Welcome weekend!! As always Hotaru and I walk home together.
"Why did you yell in class today??", Hotaru made fun of me.
"Shut up!", I yell.
"Hahahaha!! Sorry.. Sorry.."
"Hey Hotaru... That birthmark... That Anku had.. Do you think it's...", I said.
"The Dragon mark?? Maybe I am not sure.. I am sure it's just nothing important.. Right?", Hotaru was trying to comfort me.
"Yea, you're right!", I smile and Hotaru smile back in return.
"Minami... Can I.. Hold your hand..??", Hotatu ask. I look over at him, and his face was all red, it was cute.
"Of course", I tangle my hand with his, he gave me a small smile.
"This... Way..Truly...Minami..", Hotaru mumble something but I couldn't hear.
"Did you say something?", I tilt my head.
"N-No! Nothing! Let's go home!", Hotaru and I went home hand in hand.
Third P.OV
Little did Minami know, the black masked-winged man was looking at them. Watching the from a far... He looked up at the sky..."Minami... It's almost time... Be prepared..", and he flew off into the sunset....
