Boy Trouble in Middle School

Chapter 2

           It was the last week of school only three more days to go. The whole team got to go outside in the morning for a little break after they finished ISTEP. Vivian was just walking alone behind some of her friends when Christian popped up out of nowhere and asked her the impossible and unthinkable. "Hey Vivian can I have your number?" Christian asked. Feeling like he already asked that question, Vivian answered "N-no." Christian then asked "Can I date you?" And because Vivian thought that he would have known that the answer would have been no Vivian didn't answer. That was a bad idea because Christian didn't take that as a 'no' he took that as a 'yes'.

               "Hey guys we are dating now." Christian says to his friends who are behind him. "Don't listen to him, Vivian ." A girl said to her as she heard everything. "Thanks." Vivian said shyly.

                  Vivian was walking around the track by herself when all of a sudden Christian came up. "Hey Vivian , I don't think this is working out for us." Christian said as he walk with Vivian . "You understand right?" Christian said as he looked at Vivian . Vivian feeling annoyed and didn't know what to say so she just nodded her head. "Hey guys, we broke up!" Christian yelled at his friends who were in front of them. "Aww did she cry?" ask one of his friends. "No we were only dating for 20 minutes!" Christian said while laughing.

The teachers started to signal the kids to get ready to go inside. "Hey Vivian , are you and Christian really dating? Or is he just saying that?" Sammy asks. "Oh he's just saying that." Vivian said to her friend. "Hey Sammy don't worry about him." says one of Sammy's friends as they came over.

When Vivian got inside it was time for 2nd period which is English Language Arts. "Hey, Vivian ." Kadence said to Vivian as they work. "Yeah?" Vivian ask curiously. "I heard that Christian is dating this girl name Vivian  and I don't know if it's you or another girl name Vivian ." Kadence said. "Oh that's me..." Vivian said in a dull voice. "Ok so here's what happened." Riley said to Kadence . And so all of a sudden Riley was retelling what Vivian  just experienced. "Oh so that's what happened." Kadence said after the explanation.

Finally it's the last class of the day... math. "Ayy!" Christian said while putting his hand out to do a handshake with Vivian . Not knowing what to do Vivian just did what Christian did and from that day on they would use that as their handshake. "Hey, Vivian !" yelled one of the classmates. "Yes?" answered Vivian . "Are yo-" before he could finish Christian walked by so instead he turned to Christian and asked him. "Are you and Vivian really dating?" Vivian  heard him ask Christian . "Oh... Yeah... We totally are." Christian said as he makes his way back to his seat.
