Clarke marched her 'troop' out. They were headed towards their new home. Bellamy was at the back making sure nobody fell behind. Suddenly gun shots went off. "Run!" Bellamy shouted and they all broke into a sprint through the forest they had been trekking. They were walking for hours and were all tired.

'How long had they been following us? Where are they? Are they on foot? Why wait? Oh. Wouldn't want to disturb the peace!' Clarke thought bitterly. They out ran them and could barley hear the guards now but they were still coming. Then Jasper fell and Monty helped him to his feet and started to move on. "Wait!" Clarke said. The thing Jasper had tripped on wasn't a root from a tree or some rock. It was a metal handle. "Bellamy! Help me! Some thing is down here!" Clarke shouted over her shoulder as she tugged on the handle. Bellamy jogged over. "Watch out princess!" He used all his power and pulled up. The door came open with a loud groan. Bellamy pulled out a flash light to check it out but didn't have time. "Go bell! They are coming!" Octavia said and he was pushed forwards. They all slid down the ladder into what looked like a living room. Ravin was last and she shut the door behind them. "Bellamy give me your gun." She said. He had it with him from when he was patrolling the wall. He handed it over to her raising an eyebrow. She slid it in two handles on the ceiling, one on the door the other on the ceiling to lock them in. "If they break my gun I'll be pissed" Bellamy said turning with his flashlight to investigate the place. "If they break your gun we're all dead." Clarke said. She pulled a cord and a light bulb came on and lit the room. "Thanks." Bellamy said putting away the flashlight. Clarke went off to look around. She came back a few seconds later. "This place has never been used. I think it was a secret bunker." "Yeah looks like it was made to support this family." Miller held up a picture frame of a small family with two kids. They were all quiet. "But what  did they need it for?" Ravin asked.

Lincoln cleared his voice to speak "I've heard stories of an ancient war. Bombs. Lots of them that radiated the planet. They took all the survivors and split them up into different areas where they thought they would be safe. Some on land, other under ground, there were even rumours that they sent some to space. It was just a legend but I dont know. It was important. Very secret. I did a job for an old man and he owed me a large about if money that he didn't have. He said the only thing he could offer me was a secret. Bigger than any I could ever fathom. At first I thought he was joking. But no. He said if I waved the bill he would tell me. He could have been arrested if he did t pay me. I could go to the guards. But I didn't. I did what he said and he told the whole story. Said it was all written in his long dead great grand fathers journal. I never believed him but now it could make sense."

"Shhh!" Octavia whispered harshly. They all went quiet. They heard foot steps run by. They waited another few minutes before they talked again. "So if there is a under ground bunker here they must have had a house. I wonder where all the houses are?" Miller asked. "I doubt they would still be there especially after this war or whatever." Bryan said. "Well for now we are here and we are safe. I suggest you all get sleep and we will continue towards the ocean tomorrow." Clarke said. "Decide amongst you who gets what." "Way about you princess?" Bellamy asked. "I saw some coloured pencils and an empty sketch book over there. I don't want to sleep. I'm going to sketch." she said. Bellamy nodded. "Okay"

Octavia and Lincoln took the bed but Lincoln insisted that Ravin take his place. Monty was right beside Ravin and Jasper slept art he bottom of the bed like a little puppy. Miller took the couch and Bryan slept on Miller in his arms. Lincoln Wes laying on the floor. Clarke crouched beside him and handed him a pillow and a blanket. "thank you." He said she gave him a small smile and walked back to where she sat against the wall. There was a desk and chair but she refused to take it wanting Bellamy to sleep. Being Bellamy he asks I refused for the same reason. Neither one willing to give in so he sat down beside her on the floor and rested his head against the wall. Nodding off. When he fell asleep Clarke moved away from him and say a few feet in front of him and started to sketch his sleeping figure. She liked it. She loved how peaceful he looked asleep. When she was finished she moved back and his eyes fluttered open. He rubbed his eyes and furrowed his eyebrows at her. "Where did you go?" He asked straightening up. "Nowhere." She shrugged her shoulders. "Sorry I woke you go back to bed." She said although she knew he wouldn't. She smiled. An she opened her book to the next page and was contemplating who to sketch now. She decided she would do everyone. The started to sketch the bed where Octavia,Ravin Monty and Jasper laid with Lincoln at the foot. Bellamy watched her draw. When she finished he smiled. "Your really good." Her head snapped to him. She was so wrapped up in what she was doing she forgot he was awake. She sighed. 'Good lord.'she thought. "Uhh... Thanks." She smiled up at him. "I want to do Miller and Bryan next." She said. "You wanna come?" She asked. He nodded. They moved over by the couch I front of the two sleeping boys and Clarke began to draw the outline of the forest green couch. "He's a good person. You should keep him close." Bellamy whispered so softly she almost missed it. She stopped drawing and turned to him. "What are you talking about? Why are you acting like you are giving me advice before you leave or something?" Her eyes were filled with worry. He took her hand and intertwined their fingers. "I'm sorry, that's not what I meant." He kissed her fire head. "I'm not going anywhere I promise." She nodded. "Promise?" She looked up at him. She felt so vulnerable and she hated it. But she couldn't lose him. She lost her father her mother. Not him. She couldn't. "I promise. I love you Clarke." He leaned over and kissed her. On the mouth. For the first time. She kissed back and eventually pulled away before it got too heated. "Not here." She whispered. He nodded. She returned to sketching the boys and he watched her hand glide across the paper. It was beautiful. When she finished they had all been sleeping near 8 hours and were starting, one by one to wake up. Clarke hadn't slept a wink luckily Bellamy drifted back off to sleep. Just as everyone was waking up did Clarke lean onto Bellamy's shoulder and let her eyelids fall. Bellamy picked her up and settled her on the bed where Octavia had moved. When everyone (with the accept ion of Clarke) was up Bellamy told them they would stay a little while longer maybe another day. He also gave out some of the food he found in the bunker for breakfast. "Let Clarke sleep. She needs it. She didn't sleep at all last night. Also look around and see if you can find anything we can use to take with us. We will also go through the all the packs and re-pack. Decide what we really need and leave what we don't." Bellamy said and they all nodded in agreement. They are then started to look around like they were told. That only kept them occupied for a short while. They brought everything that could be useful to the middle of the bunker in a pile on the floor. Back packs, knives, rope, maps, first aid kits, period products,( they hadn't even thought of that), food, water bottles and more. Clarke woke up and helped them go through and revaluate everything. They also used the back packs the had found. There was so much they wanted to take but not enough room. They had everything packed but we're all just sitting around none wanting to leave the warm safe clean bunker. Then they heard it. A huge crash that shook the entire bunker. The picture frame fell and smashed they all looked around. "What the hell was that?!?"
