quick disclaimer because I know this is gonna be hard to like imply, but any 'damage' Simon does to himself is not purposeful, i implore that you assume it is an accident. If, for whatever reason, it is not an accident, I will tell you it's not. I would hate for anyone to get triggered, so on an authors promise, Simon is not purposefully hurting himself. just clumsy. enjoy!

'I didn't mean to!' I cried as Vik bent down by the stove with a towel.
'I just... It slipped out of my hand! I can't help being clumsy!'
Vik sighed, and stood up.
'No, Simon. 'Clumsy' is knocking a bit of water on the floor when you walk past. Tipping the whole pan of freshly boiled water all over your hand is just... stupid!'
I pouted as he picked the now empty pan up off the floor and moved it back onto the counter. The bandage was firmly wrapped around my hand now.
I secured it with a strip of medical tape from the very well-stocked first aid kit, but when I went to cut the tape, my hand slipped and the edge of the scissors cut into my thumb.
'Fuck!' I mumbled under my breath.
Vik rushed around the counter to grab my hand and push a wad of tissue against the cut.
'I don't mean to do it.' I whispered.
'I know.' Vik responded as he pulled the tissue away and grabbed a plaster from the box. 'You're just clumsy.'
