Lighting and Shadow ( A Fanfic of Batman's daughter and Flashes Daughter!)

Chapter 1

Ugh! Bruce is making me go to one of these stupid charity balls! Ugh! All the press wants to get my picture and ask me silly questions! Just UGH!Hopefully Christy we'll be there. I can't handle one of these balls without her! Ugh hi I'm Anne Marie Lilly Wayne, Bruce Waynes daughter. I'm 12. Seriously I have to were a dress! I hate dresses!My dress is navy blue to match Bruce's suit and it goes down to my ankles. I also have little brown boots. Also Dickie is coming! My little adoptive brother Richard Jhon 'Dick' Grayson! When he first came I was mad at Bruce because I thought he didn't care about me anymore and i was his mistake and is still do. I loved Dickie though! He's adorable and so love able! I'm glad I took gymnastics cause now I can use the trapeze sometimes that Bruce installed for Dick. Also Dick became Robin which I'm a little bit jealous about since now him and Bruce are closer then I am with Bruce. I use to be Batman's first sidekick but I was known as a rumor after I left to focus on school. I just qwish my mom was alive to help me... But sadly she died giving birth to me. It's probably my fault for her death..... ENOUGH OF MY SAD LIFE NOW! I follow Bruce and hold Dick's other hand since one is with Bruce. When we get in I look for Christy which I found in a flash.Cliché. I look at the ground and say "I'm going to stay with Christy." Of course Bruce couldn't hear me but Dickie did and he told Bruce. I ran over to Christy my BFF and my only friend.

Christy:
OMG!!! WHYYYYYYY????? WHY DO I HAVE TO BE A NICE FRIEND??? Ugh! I'm at Bruce Wayne's charity ball. I'm coming because A, my dad was invited by Bruce-Batman, and B, I'm doing it to help my BFF Anne! Yeah I know her name is Anne Marie but I've always called her Anne! My father the flash, and I both have super speed. I would visit the watchtower sometimes and the hall. Sometimes when I go I would wear a flash suit to match my dad! My mom works for the news. Also I have a cousin name Wally! He didn't come to the charity ball though. He is known as kid flash. He begged my dad enough to get the spot. I'm just not a hero because 1, I'm not going to Explain to my teachers how I got my bruises, 2, Anne. I sometimes help them when they need backup but I'm just a blur so the villains don't see me or catch me! How can they? I'm a flash! I was born with these powers! And   Anne has Daddy issues that I ONLY know about! AND I KNOW SHE HAS A CRUSH ON ALEX KENT AKA SUPERMAN COUSIN AKA CLARK KENTS SO CALLED BROTHER! I KNOW BUT SHE WONT IDMIT!!! Oh there is Anne now! I wave get over to me in my red dress that goes down to my knees but I have high boots! "Anne!" I say as she reaches me "Hi Chris" she says. I turn to see my dad is off talking with some scientist friends. "Come on Chris" Anne pulls my arm and we're off. We're heading to a room in the building that we usually go to. When we reach it we go over to a table in the middle and sit down. "*sigh* away from the press! And Bruce! Chris do you think you can-?" Before Anne says no more I use my legs and get us both ice cream from a parlor down the road. I love my powers! "Here you go! One bowl of cookies n' cream and one for me!" I say smiling and Anne smiled back. For once she isn't crying or angry or sad or wants to kill something. She's smiling! That's as close as happy we're getting! "Thanks Chris! Oh my yesterday we figure out that Dick is smart enough to skip 2 grades!" Anne beams "OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS!?" I screamed at her. Dick came from the circus and was now 8 and he could skip to grades?! I'm impressed. Dick is also Wally's 'brother' and as well as Roy Harpers. There a Trio! I had a feeling that someone was watching us so I flinch my hand a bit. Anne stop eating her ice cream after she saw me stop eating my. I flinch my hand again and Anne spoke up "Who's there?" The door creaks a bit and I see Anne go for her boot to slowly pull at two knives. Smart thinking Anne, smart thinking. She stands by me and hands one behind my back which I take "Come out." Anne says in a powerful voice. That's when two boys step threw the door away. Without Hesitation Anne throws her knife near one of there heads "HEY!" That boy screams..... Wait...... "Alex? Jose?" Anne questions them. What? "Yes?" Alex replies. I throw my knife at Jose head with anger flowing threw my body. Did they really just follow us "HEY!" Jose screams "WHAT THE HE** ARE YOU DOING FOWLING US??? STALKER MUCH" me and Anne say at the same time. The boys seem I bit surprise. But who wouldn't? Anne and I act like polar opposites in public when really our brains click together and we act like twins. Now I have to introduce them, Anne does this better, just go ask Her!

Anne Marie:
Jose Queen. Son of Oliver Queen, mother Dinah Queen, adoptive brother Roy Harper also Dickie's 'brother' as Chris is like my 'sister'. He is the Immature one of them but in public he acts like royalty would at a ball. I think he has a crush on Chris but she doesn't care or want a boyfriends so he should back off or else.... Now Alex Kent. 'Brother' Clark Kent but they are actually cousins when Clark is Superman. I kinda like Akec BUT DONT TELL BRUCE OR CHRISTY!!! Now why have they followed us? It could mean 3 things, they were sent by our parents to find us, the like us and are stalking us, or they saw us come here and followed with curiosity. I'm gong with 3 or 1. Bruce doesn't care about me and Barry Knows Christy is with me so it's 3 " Saw us come up here and you were curious and don't like to respect people's privacy. You should make sure no one was following you guys or they would've seen Christy's powers!" I said. They look a little shock with my detective skills but then they relies Bat Man is my Dad. "Yeah sorry" Alex replied sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck "yeah agreed sorry" Jose said scratching his arm giving weird glances at Christy "You guys should come back to the ball though it will be fun with you guys! Come on!" Jose said smiling brightly. Yeah maybe we should.... I mean I could keep an eye on Dick why I'm at it and have more time with Alex WHAT DID I JUST THINK? "YEAH sure!" Christy replied raising her voice to snap me back to reality. She turned to me"Come on Anne!" I nodded and followed behind Christy and Jose with Alex behind me. We made it to the main room and found a table for us to sit at. We all sat down and were quite. No one talked, but I could see that smirk that Christy was trying to keep away by tucking in her lips. That means that she is planning something but what? And Jose seems a little off as well? Are they working together??!! All of a sudden a slow dance comes on and Chris us Jose disappeared which only leaves...THIS WAS THERE PLAN!!!

Christy:
I was watching from a floor above smiling at Anne and Alex with Jose. Our plan was ago "Now all they need to do is ask each other to dance" Jose says. Last Charity ball me and Jose knew that they both liked each other so, why not admit it with a slow dance. PURfect! Also their faces! HAHA PRICELESS! Anne's gaze meets mine and she gives me a bat-glare. I gulp and hid me fear with a smile! Alex gets up and holds his hand for Anne. She hesitates but takes it. "Yes!" Me and Jose high five each other. We watch as they dance. Hopefully Bruce nor Clark notice that their kids are dancing together! That would be tragic "Hey" Jose looks at me " if one pair a friends dance the other pair should as well." He said. I giggled. That sounded like one of Wally's cheesy pick up lines that he keeps on using now days! "Sure" I gave in. We only dance for about 2 min but Jose is a great dancer! "Your a great dancer" I said as we finish "And so are you, let me guess slow danced aren't your thing." "They aren't. Either are they mine." said a voice from the shadows. Oh no... Jose jumps back a bit and so do I "H-hey Anne," I say as she appears with Alex right behind her "how y-you guys doing?" I ask I little scared. A bat-a-rang flys by my head but I catch it with my super speed. Luckily no one was there "Ok then.... Are you going to admit it?" I ask after a long line of silence "Huh?" Alex asked. Jose rolled his eyes "that you guys like each other!" He said. They both blush and didn't say anything. Anne gave me a glance, I know that glance. Then she just disappear like the bat she is! *sigh* "Anne and I wanted to say sorry for throwing the knifes at your heads. Also she wanted me to tell you that she hope that you guys had a good time. And yes, I just said that for her because she won't" and after that I ran downstairs to go so bye to Anne and head out with my father back home.

"Weird...." Jose and Alex say at the same time. They then did a bro fist.
