Chapter 2( School

Christy POV:
I smile and wave at my dad as I walk into Star City Middle School. I still don't know why dad needs a car. He's the fastest man alive! And he's always late! Maybe if he goes out the back door then runs to the nearest alley way near his work, then he can get to work on time! Or maybe not. Mom said that he's always late.

After I walk into school my smile turns into a frown. I don't like school that much.... You know, I have trouble in- umm trouble in- actually I'm acing my classes! I guess it's just umm the bullies. Yeah! Jo Jo the queen of the school and Jake her older brother plus their little gangs always like it bully me the most! Everyday I get a new bruise or blood all over my shirt! My parents don't know though, I kept it a secrete and when ever I get a punch and a kick I always put on a new change of closing saying to my parents "Gym Close!" And I do my own Landry so yeah! I know you people might be thinking o should go to my parents, but if I do they'll get all overprotective, I won't be able to use my super speed or anything! I can't let that happen! Ek! I'm going to miss first period if I do t hurry up!

Mr. Richmond can be pretty scary if your late! "Hey Brat!" Oh come on! I JUST GOT TO SCHOOL! I turn around to be face with Jake. "Hello sir, I'm very sorry but I need to get to Mr. Richmond's class! I swear I'll let you beat me up at the end of the day!" I told Jake quickly fear in each word. He laughed, that horrible laugh."Sure.... But it's gojng to be really REALLY hard today." He walked off laughing. I signed and ran to Mr. Richmond's class and made it on time! Yes! Hopefully the school day is long so the pain doesn't come quicker!

Just have to think, at the end of the day I get to go home and everything will be ok! The world is not ending! I'm
Not worthless! And I have my BFF Anne! Though she doesn't know what's happening at my school, she still is there for me! Hopefully her and Dick have a nice day at school!

Anne Marie's POV:

Gotham high- Also known as hell. I REALLY hate school. Why? 1. Because I know everything being the daughter of batman 2. Im almost fluent in all languages (i still need to work on my French!) 3. I have no one to talk to. Will number 3 I don't mind, and either way today will be better since Dickie is coming here now! Yep my little (adoptive) brother is now officially a student and Gotham Middle! Sadly it's only for a year....

"Bye Dickie have a great first day!" Bruce said to Dickie. "I will dad!" He smiled. Bruce looked at me "Have a good day Anne Marie..." He said. I lowered my sunglasses and scoffed at him. I took Dickie's hand and I brought him inside. Dickie stared at me in the eyes and raised an eyebrow 'why don't you like Dad Annie? Aren't you happy to have a dad?" He asked in bat talk. I looked back in forth and looked at him 'not here Dickie. When we get home and Bruce is gone. K?' I asked, he nodded "good! Now if anyone bullied you, you tell me! If you need help come to me or a friend who is intelligent just like you! And please be yourself here! Not to much though!" I say to him out of bat talk. He nods in agreement, hugs me and runs off to Barbra Gordon, Jim Gordon's daughter. Good he's in good hands. Dick is the only person I care about who lives in my household (except for Alfred, he's cool). I want to make sure he doesn't end up like me, a dark soul with no meaning...

I look over at Dickie and walk off to first period.

All I can think about is Alex really, during first period. That dance from the other night I can't get out of my head! UGH DAMN YOU CHRISTY AND JOSE FOR SETTING THAT UP!!! AND DAMN YOU ALEX FOR BEING SO HANDSOME!!! Wait did I really just think that?! Ugh! Wait is Christy right?! Do I have fe- fe- feel- hat ever that word is, for Alex?! God I need help! Which means I'm going to call Christy tonight and ask her for help!
