Trent McCain set on top of his horse looking at his land. He loved the open planes of his rance with the mountains in the backdrop. It was a sight he would never grow old with. There was always something new to see.
The silver dust was his pride and joy. Something he had dreamed of all his life.
Growing up without a home moving from place to place. Was never the life he wanted.
He had gotten into rodeoing and worked hard to buy this peace on land.
Making his way to the top So he could buy this piece of land.
Rising to the top had its good and bad aspects. It was just part of life.
Now He was raising beef cows and prize rodeo horses.
He loves working from sun up to sundown. The hard work he had put in to get to where he was now.
The only downfall was he had no one to share it all with.
Most women that came around only see dollar signs and fame when they looked at him.
So His trust in relationships had dwindled over time.
There was only one person he still trusted with his life.
That was his best friend and old rodeo partner Caden Lean.
They had met years ago when Trent had first started in the rodeo and have been together every seance.
They shared everything even there woman they took to their bed.
Everywhere they went women would throw there self at them just to have bragging rights that they had slept with the top two bull riders. It got old fast.
At night They would find themselves always talking about finding the right girl for them.
Yet over time, they started losing hope.
Maybe one day the right one would come into their life. They just had to keep faith in it.
"Hey, Trent the fiance is down on the north side of the pastor."
Blowing out a breath he had been holding." Will let's get to it. It's not going to fix itself."
Grabbing up his rain. They headed north.
There was an old farm back there. Good peace of grazing land with a never-ending flow of water from a creek.
He did not know who own the place. No one had lived there for years. The house was run down by now. He wonders why he never tried to buy it.
Maybe now he should. It would be a good investment for his ranch.
For now, thaw he had work to do on his land. It was something that would have to be put on the back burner for later.
