first 'date'

kendra POV

I woke up to the smell of pancakes, my favorite. I walked in the kitchen to see Josh making 4 pancakes.

"Wow you must be hungry" I said

"Yeah, i didn't want you to have any" he said sarcastically

"Aw man" i said fake whining

He came over and gave me a friendly hug. I sort of thought it was weird that my room mate was hugging me, but i enjoyed it and didn't want it to stop. ;););)

Josh POV

i walked over to hug her because i wanted her to notice the feelings i had for her, but i don't think she sensed it. I pulled away from the hug to look at her in the eyes and said

"Wanna go out for dinner tonight?"

she replied saying "I would love to:)"

I was trying to act all cool and not creep her out with all my excitement, lets just say it was hard holding it in.

6 hours later, 4 0' clock

I told her we would leave at 5. She walked in my room and asked if she needed to dress nice. I nodded in response. I picked out a white button up shirt with my black skinny jeans. I picked up my phone to see it was 4:37. I walked out to see her standing in the living room, wearing a black, knee length, dress with white flats.

She was absolutely stunning.

kendra POV

When Josh walked out i noticed we matched and noticed how freaking hot he was. "dang" i said aloud with a smirk on my face. He raised his eyebrow and said "I know, im pretty hot" he said with a smirk. I just smiled and walked to the door.

While we were in the car, heading to this 'fancy restaurant', we listened to some Nirvana.

We pulled up and he opened the door for me and held my hand the whole way to our seat. i thought to myself while he was holding my hand,

does he like me or something? no of course not kendra, he is just being a gentleman.

i snapped out of my thoughts and started a conversation with Josh. half way into the conversation he stopped me and said

"Kendra can i tell you something. i nodded

"you look beautiful" his cheeks automatically turned red.

i smiled and said "thanks josh, you look handsome" causing him to turn even more red.

We held hands on the way back to the car and was silent the entire way to the apartment. When we got there he opened my door and carried me bridal style to the living room and then threw me on the couch and started tickling me.

"JOOOOSSSSHHHH QUIT AH I CANT STOPPPP" i said between laughs

he stopped a few minutes later then leaned down and kissed my nose and said goodnight. i said goodnight back and he went into his room.

I went to my room threw on my pajamas and hopped in the bed thinking

i like him. a lot.
