----Tuesday, Mar. 14----

Tuesday was spent going to school and hanging with Stiles and John at the station.

----Wednesday, Mar. 15----

School flew by fast Wednesday and soon it was time for dinner. Sti had picked up food and we were eating at the station with John in his office.

"Oh, what the hell is this?" John asked as he took a bite of his burger.

"Veggie burger." Stiles said just as I was about to take a bite. I quickly stopped and glanced between my boyfriend and his father.

"Stiles, I asked for a hamburger." John sighed

"Well, veggie is healthier. We're being healthy." Sti stated as he held up his salad.

"Oh, hell, why are you trying to ruin my life?" John said as he opened his fry box to find celery and carrots. I felt my eyes widen as I hurriedly opened my fry box and found apple slices and cheese. I scoffed, drawing attention to myself as Stiles and John looked at me.

"I swear to god, Sti, if this is a freaking veggie burger, I'm going to vomit all over you." I stated as John laughed at my comment and Stiles paled. I gingerly took a bite and grinned when I tasted the beef. Sti then breathed out in relief as John stared at my burger with envy.

"Here, Pops." I said as I handed John my other burger, not realizing what I said.

"Lily!" Stiles exclaimed as he and John looked at me incredulously.

"What? The man wanted a burger, not some veggie knockoff. I gave him a burger." I stated as I ate another bite.

"Not that, you called me 'Pops'." John said. I froze for a second before I smiled shyly at him.

"Is that ok?" I asked timidly.

"Yeah! Of course! Sorry, it just kinda startled us for a second. I've always wanted a daughter." John said hurriedly. I blushed deeply as Sti grinned at me.

"Anyways, can you tell us what you found?" I asked John.

"No, I'm not sharing confidential police work with two teenagers." John said gruffly as Stiles and I looked at the board behind him.

"Is that it on the board behind you?" Sti asked. John glanced back before turning to us.

"Don't look at that." He said.

"A'ight." Stiles muttered.

"Avert your eyes." John ordered as I started to chuckle.

"Ok." Sti murmured.

"Hey!" John exclaimed.

"Just, it's just we see arrows pointing at pictures." I said between laughs.

"Ok, ok, stop, fine. I found something. Mechanic and the couple who were murdered. They all had something in common." John started explaining.

"All three?" I asked.

"Yeah. You know what I always say. One's an incident. Two's coincidence." John said.

"Three's a pattern." Stiles breathed out.

"The mechanic, the husband, the wife all the same age. All 24." John stated.

"Wait a minute, but what about Mr. Lahey? I mean, Isaac's dad isn't anywhere near 24." I said.

"Which made me think that either "A," Lahey's murder wasn't connected or "B," the ages were a coincidence, until I found this, which would be "C." Did you know that Isaac Lahey had an older brother named Camden?" John asked.
