----Monday, Mar. 6----

"They're coming back so we don't have much time to talk." Deaton said as he started getting stuff to help heal Scott.

"What is that?" Scott asked worriedly.

"Rubbing alcohol. You don't want it to get infected do you?" Deaton asked. Scott shook his head before Deaton applied it to Scott's wound.

"You'll heal the same, just not as quickly because of Derek." Deaton explained quickly as Scott groaned.

"Ok, how do you know all this? Actually, how-how do you know anything?" Scott asked Deaton as I watched the door.

"It's a longer story. What I can tell you is that I know about your kind and a little about Lily's. Your kind I can help and I can try to help Lily's. This... this is something different." Deaton stated.

"Wha-wha. Do you know what did it?" Scott asked as he looked at the mutilated Hunter.

"No but the Argents will. And this is the crucial part, they'll have some kind of record or book. It'll have descriptions, histories, notations of all the things they've discovered." Deaton explained hurriedly.

"All the things? How many different things are there?" Scott asked.

"Guys, they're here." I stated as I ducked back into the exam room, my blonde hair flying behind me.

Scott looked at me fearfully as I grabbed his arm and shoved him into a supply room. I quickly followed and shut the door behind us quietly as we hid. We both held our breath as we listened to the Hunters walk in.

"I'm starting to think I need to buy a more prominent closed sign." Deaton said.

"Hello, Alan. It's been a while. The last I'd heard, you'd retired." I heard Gerard say. Scott's eyes widened as did mine when we heard him speak.

"Last I heard, you followed a code of conduct." Deaton retorted.

"If you hadn't noticed, this body is one of ours." Chris stated.

"I did. I also noticed the gunpowder residue on his fingertips. So don't assume I'll be swayed by your philosophy just 'cause I'll answer a few questions." Deaton stated.

"He was only 24." Chris said through clenched teeth.

"Killers come in all ages." Deaton replied.

"All ages, sizes, and shapes. It's the last one that concerns us." Gerard said.

"How 'bout you tell us what you found." Chris said.

"See this cut? Precise. Almost surgical. While this isn't the wound that killed him, this had a more interesting purpose." Deaton explained.

"Relating to the spine?" Gerard asked.

"That's right, whatever made this cut was laced with a paralytic toxin potent enough to disable all motor functions. These are the cause of death, notice the patterns on each side." Deaton explained.

"Five for each finger." Chris stated.

"Each claw." Gerard clarified.

"As you can see, it dug in, slashed upward. Eviscerating the lungs and slicing through the bone of the ribcage with ease." Deaton explained gruesomely.

"Have you ever seen anything like this before?" Chris asked.

"No." Deaton deadpanned.

"Any idea at all about what killed him?" Chris asked.

"No, but I can tell you it's fast, remarkably strong, and has the capacity to render its victims essentially helpless within seconds." Deaton stated.
