Lesson

I'm Lesson, well if you want to get technical it's Ryan Bates. They call me Lesson because that's what I do. I teach lessons to those who don't know any better in the streets. I was raised right in Atlanta, Georgia and as you know by a single mother. I didn't chose to get in the game, the game chose me. Nah I'm just playing. I wanted fast money and to buy me things my mom couldn't afford.

I looked over at Harmony as she looked out the window. It's crazy how I found out about her being the boss man's daughter, but now that I'm her body guard then I get to be closer to her. She was so beautiful and her eyes was like fresh green money. I saw her shift and my eyes went to her hips. Lawd, the damage she could do with them things.

"Stop staring at me." She said breaking my thoughts.

"Sorry." I laughed.

"What's funny?" She turned and looked at me.

"Nothing it's just weird how I'm your body guard now." She sighed.

"Yeah real funny." We pulled up to the house and there was a boy on the porch.

She smiled and as soon as the car stopped she jumped out and ran to the porch. I quickly got out and pulled her away from him once I got up there.

"Excuse you." She said.

"In the house now." I said as I stared at ol' dude. "You might want to get out of here."

"He's not going anywhere. Besides he's here for me not you." She said calmly. "You don't boss me around."

"I'm sorry but what is my job?" I looked at her.

"I don't care, he's fine alright. He either comes in the house or we all stand out here. Pick your pick but he's not leaving." She shrugged. I sighed as she looked at the guy who smirked at her.

"Fine he can come in, but if yo dad flip I'm not in it alright."

"Protect me remember?" She smiled as she took his hand.

"Wait let me talk to him for a minute."

"Why?"

"It's cool babe. I'll be in there soon as we finish." The guy said making me look at him. Babe? She nodded and went in the house.

"Let me introduce myself. My name is Lesson. I am Harmony's bodyguard, which means I will be with her 24/7 as long as they tell me to watch her. That means you have to go through me to see her. Understand?" He chuckled and shook his head.

"Yeah I understand. Now understand this Lesson, Harmony is with me so don't go getting any ideas because being her man, protecting her is also my job. Understand that?" I could've punched this nigga in the face. He didn't know who he was talking to. She wouldn't be his for long, I'll make sure of it. Plus he looked like he was up to something.

"I understand man. As long as you know what's at stake being her man."

"Trust me I've been in tougher situations."

"Lesson my dads on the phone." I heard Harmony say coming to the door.

"Alright." I looked at the guy once more before we went in the house.

Dude thought he put fear in my heart. Haha! Funny thing is I wasn't scared of him because like I said I've been in tougher situations. I smiled when I saw Harmony come back downstairs in some shorts and tank top with knee high socks. I knew I had to make her my girl today.

"Hey you want to go down to the movie room?" She asked.

"Sure." She took my hand and we went down to the movie room.
