Lesson

I felt her stop breathing when I said that. I think I stopped breathing too.

"What did you just say?"

"I said I love you." She looked at me angry.

"Why would you say that?" She asked.

"That's how I feel about you. I understand if you don't feel the same but it doesn't change anything on my part." She looked back at me.

"Could you give me a minute?" I sighed as I got off the bed.

"I'll be in my room." She nodded and I left.

I woke up at the sound of glass breaking. I quickly sat up and grabbed my gun from the nightstand. I quietly walked out of my room and felt something slam on the back of my head knocking me out.

Harmony

I heard something fall and I snatched the headphones from my ears and got up from my bed. I cut off the lamp and heard footsteps approaching. I tried to find my guns, but I left them both downstairs and we didn't ever hide the guns where we were suppose to in my room. The door slowly opened and two people walked in. I saw the door to my balcony and ran to it with them behind me. I yelled when I felt a pair of their hands wrap around me.

"Stop, we don't want to hurt you." One sad as I struggled.

"Let me go!"

"Stop fighting and I will." I continued screaming and fighting. "Stop it!" He yelled and the other one put his hand over my mouth.

"Harmony, please stop we don't want to hurt you." I slowly stopped when I heard the third person come in. They released me and I looked at them.

"What do you want?"

"We want you." He said honestly and calmly.

"Why and where's Lesson?"

"He's uh, he's taking a nap. Why we want you is not for you to know." I sighed. "Just come with us alright."

"No, I won't just go with you." Is he crazy?

"Why you being such a bitch?" The one closer to me said.

"What did you just call me?" I said turning towards him.

"I called you a bitch." I head butted the shit outta him. The other guy grabbed me.

"Don't ever call me a bitch again." 

"Damn she knocked him out." The cool one said with a chuckle.

"I need you to calm down." I felt him put his hand over my mouth. I bit down and he let me go. I ran out the room and down the hall seeing Lesson laying on the floor.

"Baby get up." I said to him as I turned him over and saw blood coming from his head. "Shit."

"Harmony, get back here." I heard one of them yell and I took off down the stairs.

I looked for a gun but I didn't see any. I grabbed the keys to my car and ran outside and got grabbed. I felt something go into my neck and then I blacked out.

"Shit how hard was it to get one girl?" I said as they came out carrying Taz.

"She knocked Taz out with a head butt and then ran away."

"Yeah her father taught her well."

"Ghost ain't do shit. That's my daughter. Her mama and that nigga took her from me. Why you think I've been trying to get her back for so long. Go ahead and put them in the car." I sighed and walked around to the driver side of the car.

We pulled into my driveway an hour later and Taz was just waking up. I took Harmony to the room I had for her and put her in the bed. I walked out the room and went to find Snake. I saw him and Wayne talking outside.

"Wayne let me talk to Snake for a sec." He stood and walked in the house.

"What's up?" I lit a freshly rolled blunt.

"I want you to watch over Harmony." I said after taking a pull from the blunt and offering him some.

"No thanks and why do you want me to do it?"

"You the only nigga I can trust. I sent Hector but he want to shoot at her and shit. He got her in the leg about two months ago. I had to kill him, but I trust that you won't hurt her. I see the way you look at her." He looked away.

"Alright. You sure you want me to do this Fire?"

"I'm sure. Now go in there and make sure she hasn't woken up yet." He got up and walked in the house while I finished my blunt.

I finally had my baby girl back. It took me 18 years to get her back and they would have to kill me to take her away again. Gabrielle want to take her from me and let Ghost bitch ass raise her. Had I not did three years in jail when she was a baby I could've had her then, but Gab up and moved on a nigga. Ghost dumb ass fuck if he don't see the resemblance in me and Harmony shit she got my eyes. I got up and went into the house and went to my room.
