Hello and welcome to The Inspired Contests! We're here to help you get inspired: whether it's for getting over writer's block, reigniting a love for writing, or just for plain fun, we've got a contest for you! Each month, we'll post a new one-shot contest, complete with guidelines and suggestions to help you get started. Best of luck!

1. All one-shot contest entries must be less than 2,000 words and must be relevant to the theme or topic of that month's contest.
2. Please publish your one-shot as a new story. Tag your entry with the tags #inspiredcontests and #inspiredawards. If you decide to add your entry to an already existing story or a collection of one-shots with multiple existing parts, please make sure to clearly label your entry with the correct hashtag (more info about specific entry tags in following chapters).
3. To enter, you must comment the title of your one-shot entry in the chapter for the contest you wish to enter. If you do not comment your entry's title, your entry will not be judged. Remember to tag it as well!
4. Entries for each contest will be accepted until midnight of the deadline date, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).

For each month's Inspired Contest, there will be one winner as well as several honorary mentions.
WINNERS Each month's winner will receive the following: - A shout out from each of the team's separate accounts - An exclusive shout out from this account - A place for their book in a winners reading list on this account - The winner's profile and winning one-shot will be featured in this account's bio
HONORARY MENTIONS Each month's honorary mentions will receive the following: - A grouped shout out from this account - A place for their book in an honorary mentions reading list
