I opened my eyes to find myself back in the other world.
Me: Hey. Been a while since I've been here. Now to get some answers.
I searched for the spirit and eventually found him.
Spirit: Ah, Ken welcome back.
Me: Good to be back. I heard about your past.
Spirit: True, but there were some things left unexplained. That's why I brought you here.
Me: Like?
Spirit: For starters, you were never told about the incident that caused all of this.
Me: Oh. True, but I have a question before you start.
Spirit: And what would that be?
Me: Do you even remember your name?
Spirit: No. It's been so long, I've forgotten.
Me: Oh. Then I'll just give you one. How about... Kamino?
Spirit: Kamino?
Me: My father was born in Japan hence the names Ken and Aki. It would just make sense.
Spirit:... Alright. Kamino it is then.
Me: So, you say there's more to the story?
Kamino: Yes. The main thing is the incident that led to me becoming this crown. The day I was sealed, my magic went crazy.
Me: What do you mean?
Kamino: On that fateful day, we were in the middle of a battle and I was struck by dark magic. It didn't affect me at first, but something happened...
Flashback...
Kamino's POV...
Me: Alright everyone. Split up and we'll surround it. Then, we use our magic to get rid of the darkness in his heart.
Everyone: Right!
With that I started distracting the monster while the others surrounded him. Unfortunately, the monster knew what we up to. He turned away from me and started attacking the others.
Me: Guys! He knows what we're planning! Move out of the way!
The warning didn't work however. The monster struck them with his dark magic lifting them off their feet and flying backwards causing them all to lose consciousness.
Me: NO!
I ran to them and tried to wake them up.
Me: Hey, someone, ANYONE, please WAKE UP!
None of them woke up. That's when everything went horribly wrong. I stood and turned to face the creature. The dark magic took effect causing me to lose control. My eyes glowed red and I began to charge.
Me: YOU! YOU WILL PAY DEARLY FOR THIS!!!!
I fought with all of my strength. Every time I was knocked down, I got back up and continued to fight. My friends did eventually wake up and saw me going on a rampage. After the beast was defeated, I still wanted to fight. I had no idea my friends were ok. I was still mad because I thought I had lost my closest friends and more importantly, the one I loved. This thought clouded my judgment and I attacked everything I laid my eyes on. I knew it was wrong and I tried to break free, but the dark magic had taken a form inside my head, so I was busy fighting my own battle to break free.
Kamino's Girlfriend's POV...
Girlfriend: He's lost it! He thinks we're still unconscious! We have to help him!
???: I know, but there's only one way to make sure we save him and make sure he doesn't go crazy again.
Girlfriend: How?
???: I'm sorry to say, but... we'll have to seal his magic away.
Girlfriend: What? I can't do that! There has to be another way!
???: Honey!
Girlfriend: Huh? My love, is that you?
Kamino: Yes! It's too late for me! She speaks the truth! The dark magic has taken on another form! Even if you release it, he'll still be able to make me lose control! This is the only way! Do it!
Girlfriend: No! I won't seal you away!
Kamino: You have to! There's no other way! I want you to do it! Please!
Girlfriend: ...........................
Kamino: I love you and I will never forget about you, so please, if you can't do it for you then do it for me! Seal me away along with this dark spirit!
Girlfriend: ........................... Alright.
???: I'm sorry, it's our only chance. Everyone surround him and use your magic to seal him away!
Everyone: Right!
Kamino's POV...
The last thing I remember is my companions surrounding me and combined their magic to seal me and the dark magic away. I saw tears in my love's eyes as they used the spell. The only thing I said to them was...
Kamino: Thank you. It was an honor fighting by your sides.
I lost consciousness and awoke in the crown you have in your possession.
End of Flashback...
Ken's POV...
Me: Wow. I never knew you had such a sad past. No wonder you were lonely for so long.
Kamino: Yes, it was lonely, but now I'm not.
Me: Why's that?
Kamino: I now have you to talk to. A brand new friend.
Me: Yeah. Though you get cut off a lot, I enjoy our conversations.
Kamino: Yes, but we still have a problem.
Me: And that is?
Kamino: The dark magic inside me has been transferred to you. That's why you lose control whenever you see your friends in danger.
Me: I see. Well, the solution to that is easy.
Kamino: Oh?
Me: Yeah. I just can't get angry. If my friends are in danger, I just have to stay calm and help without trying to fight.
Kamino: Are you sure that it will be that easy?
Me: Sure!
Kamino: Alright. I trust you.
I all of a sudden heard the alarm go off.
Me: Oh. I have to go. Time to go to school. See you later, Kamino!
Kamino: See you soon, Ken.
With that I woke up.
Me: Well, it was good to finally have a normal conversation with Kamino.
???:Kamino? Who's that?
Me: He's the spirit inside the crown. We're actually good friends... Wait... who said that?
I looked to see Aki by my side.
Me: AH! Aki, what are you doing in here?
Aki: Your alarm's been going off for 5 minutes. So, I decided to wake you up since the alarm wasn't enough.
Me: What are you talking about? The alarm only been going off for a few seconds.
Aki: Not in my eyes.
Me: Whatever. Just go get ready for school.
Aki: Alright.
She left the room leaving me alone.
Me: I better get ready too.
I looked at the crown.
Me: You need to get ready too, Kamino. Who knows, I may need your help today.
I grabbed the crown and started getting ready...
