Zia asked me how i know sign language, so i signed "ABC" then she nodded and walked away. They called my name for the blood test. "Daphne Kennish?" So i walked in. I sat down and layed my arm down. It was done in like two seconds. They put it in a tube waiting for the results "okay you are done" i smiled and walked away. I went to class and saw my boyfriend so i decided to sit next to him. He got up and kissed me on the cheek then he sat back down. I blushed. But then i saw Zia walk in. "Huh" i looked back at the teacher.
** after school **
Zia and Daphne went home. Daphne lived in mission hills. And Zia lived in east river side. They were two completely different places.
**At Daphne's house**
Daphne walked in and sat her stuff down and looked up cool graffiti online. Her brother Ty walked in. "Hey Daphne" Daphne looked at him "Oh hey Ty!" Ty came and got something to drink. He looked at Daphne. "What are you looking at?" Daphne closed her computer "just some art"
** at Zia's house**
She opens the glass sliding door and walks into the kitchen where her mom is on the phone. Ragina hangs up and looks at Zia. "Hey honey, how was school? Did you do the blood test?" She signed. "Hi, school was fine and yes i did do the test."
** Ragina and Katherine's phone rang**
Moms: "hello?"
Doctor: "we have some bad news"
Ragina: "how bad?"
Katherine: "what do you mean?"
* a few minutes later*
** at Daphne's house **
Daphne's mom walks in. With a bad look on her face. "Mom whats wrong?" Daphne asks.
** at Zia's house **
Ragina hangs up. And looks at Zia.
"Mom whats wrong?" She signs to her mom.
** both of the moms say**
"Switched at birth.."
