So, I like to roleplay sometimes. And for this roleplaying I like to do sometimes, I have tons of original characters to use. And now, I'm sharing them here with you, because I want to.

This week I say as if this will be regularly updated, you get double the characters too! Wow!

Now, the twins, also known as Enigma and Riddle, are dorks. That's the simplest way to put it. They both love sappy soap operas, picked their street names because they've always loved adventures and the ideals surrounding cryptic names like that, and are hopelessly in love with love.

Unfortunately, these dorks don't have such a happy life. Around the time when they were fourteen, both of them started to develop these powers. Enigma slowly gained the ability to read the moods/auras of people and alter it accordingly. Riddle began to "communicate" with technology, for all intents and purposes, and that includes controlling it. He also became a permanent wifi signal, so that's sweet. (I don't have all of the science in place for their powers, so don't ask about that yet...but know I'm always working on it!)

Naturally, when a couple of immature teenagers have something completely illogical happen to them, they hide it! After about two months, Riddle finally convinced his sister that it's okay to tell someone, and instead of going to an adult, which would make the most sense, he goes to his puppy love boyfriend Benjamin to confide in him. (It's not quite puppy love, since Ben moved in when they were all twelve and after a year of becoming ridiculously close friends, they finally start dating, and had been dating for about eight months when this happened.)  He's accepting, and the continue on with their little secret, plus one person.

Three months after Benjamin is made aware of the situation, things go horribly wrong. The twins are hanging out in Riddle's room as he draws, when their older brother Col comes bursting in, screaming at them to run. They watch, dumbfounded, as mere moments after he runs into the room, a bullet goes through his head. They're horrified, but after a moment, Enigma gets Riddle moving, and they escape through the window. As they're running around the house, Riddle is distracted by a commotion in the living room. Despite Enigma's logic, they both gather around the window to watch. Armed soldiers are in their house, holding a gun to their little sister, Mona, and their parents. They watch as their parents are yelling, and Mona gets more and more scared. At this point, Enigma wants desperately to run inside, but Riddle convinces her to stay outside. They continue to watch, and soon enough Mona is shot as well.

It doesn't take them quite as long to get running this time, mainly because their tear-stricken parents told them to run. As they're escaping the premises, Riddle spots Benjamin, and once more drags Enigma off track. Riddle runs to warn Benjamin, and after a few moments of conversation, it's revealed that Ben was the one who tipped off the government about the twins and their powers.

Riddle is heartbroken. He can't move a muscle, can barely blame Ben for his siblings' death, and is sobbing to the point where he can't breathe. Enigma eventually coaxes him into moving, and their off.

The next couple of years includes grief-and-guilt-induced bad decisions, such as underage drinking, recreational power usage, and relationships that never go well. Riddle is constantly betrayed by his lovers, and Enigma's policy for falling in love with practically every person she sees doesn't do her well. During this time, they master their powers, and learn piece by piece about them. Eventually, they take up the aliases of Enigma and Riddle, and become mercenaries for hire.

And now, we have modern-day, nineteen year old, effed up twins.

Physically, they're pretty well fit. Enigma is 5'5, about 130 pounds(my weight calculator was probably way out of whack, so if that's not healthy, please, please, pleaaaaaasse let me know), and has long, pastel pink hair. Her skin is fairly tan, and she has hazel eyes. Over the years of running and fighting, she's developed muscle, and is fairly skilled with both guns and hand-to-hand combat. Protecting her twin has not been easy, and she's got tons of scars to prove it, particularly a nasty one on her back and palm. Before the accident, she was a talented ballerina, and she's still rather graceful because of it.

Riddle is 5'4.5, about 127 pounds, and has pastel pink hair so curly and messy he never bothers to fix it and just lets it do whatever it wants. His skin is a few shades darker than Enigma, and his eyes are green instead of hazel. He has a few freckles, mostly concentrated on his face, but they're scattered all over his body. Riddle has had to fight, but dislikes it intensely, and so doesn't do it as much as Enigma. Therefore, he's a little leaner than Enigma, and his scars bother him more. In particular, he has one crossing his left eyebrow, and one stretching across the side of his leg from his knee to his ankle.

Both of the twins are sarcastic and stubborn, but Enigma's a bit raunchier and blunter than Riddle, who actually gets pretty flustered about that kind of stuff. Both of them are artsy, with Enigma preferring dance and photography, while Riddle prefers drawing and making jewelry. Both of them are heavily affected by their pasts, but in different ways. Enigma feels an intense need to protect her remaining family, and feels like she failed her deceased siblings and parents. Her love for Riddle could be used against her, as she would do literally anything for his sake. After witnessing the shootings of her family, and having to shoot many a person for Riddle, she has developed hemophobia. She forces herself to work past it, but it's not exactly helping her mindset. Riddle is intensely afraid of falling in love, and has commitment issues. He fears abandonment and betrayal, and is often caught up in the past.

Enigma and Riddle share the same sense of humor, and both enjoy alcohol, although they shouldn't.

Enigma is a bit brasher and less careful than Riddle, but she's also more protective of people than he'll ever be. She's good at keeping secrets, and is constantly dreaming about a better future, for both herself and Riddle.

Riddle is more careful than Enigma, but he's also a lot more jaded than she is. While she still has hope for the world and their lives, Riddle believes all is lost, and is just trying to make the best out of his remaining time.

Aaaaand...that's about it for now. All of my characters are constantly in development, so if you have any constructive criticism, please share!
