Lucas's POV

I hear a knock at the door, and I check my hair and outfit, then head to the door.

I open the door to see Maya Hart, who's looking perfect. Her long blonde hair is curled, she's wearing a dress that shows her cleavage, she's wearing some makeup, and her heels are clicking as she lifts them up and down nervously.

"Hey," she says, smiling a white smiles, her blue eyes lighting up.

"Hi," I say, and she steps inside, her hands nervously playing with her clutch.

"So, how are you?" I ask, and Maya turns to me, a "Seriously?" look on her face, which makes me smile.

"Want food?" I ask, and she laughs and says, "Sure. I'm hungry."

I get a feeling she's not talking about food, but I roll my eyes and show her to my kitchen, and she decides on eggs.

"Yeah. Plain, scrambled eggs. Yellow. Chickens lay these lil' shits," she says, holding up an egg as an example, making me smile. She sits down on the table stool, smiling over at me as I break the eggs and stir them together.
