A warm gush of air engulfed me as I opened the door to Breezehome. I hurried inside, eager to put away the riches, weapons, and other things I had collected that were dragging me down.
The light and warmth of the fire pit in the center of the main room let off light and heat which gave the home a cozy feeling.
My housecarl, Lydia, lived here as well, and often kept the fire burning bright.
A small kitchen and dining area were set behind the welcoming living room, and a staircase was to my left, leading to the loft over the main room, where Lydia and I's rooms were.
I ambled up the stairs, and heard Lydia snoring in her small room. It was very late, and my eyelids were drooping with my large lack of sleep.
As I entered the through double doors to my room, I felt a light breeze flowing through the old and roughly built roof.
I had always figured the breeze running through the Plains District in Whiterun had been the source of the name of Breezehome.
I emptied my pockets, satchel, and back-bag into organized chests and end tables.
I slowly took off my heavy armor and set it neatly in a drawer, and slipped on something more comfortable to sleep in.
I lay sprawled across my large bed, thinking about random things. I had to admit, looting random dungeons for things I'd never use seemed pointless.
After all, I had done the most I could do for the many factions of the Imperial Holds- no- I had done the most I could ever do in the entirety of the Imperial Holds.
Although I had fulfilled my destiny as Dragonborn, and defeated Alduin the World-Eater, I felt that my own adventures were not yet over.
Then it struck me like the fire of an unexpected Dragon. I had done everything for the Imperials... but what about the Stormcloaks?
The Holds of the Stormcloaks held the most obscure creatures of all of Tamriel, ones that could walk and talk like all of the man-like creatures. But these were no simple Khajiit, oh no.
I could make adventure there. The Barrier that the Seven Mages conjured when we won the Civil War kept the Stormcloak monsters in their Holds, but we Imperials can go across anytime, but only through Dawnstar.
Every human who crossed the Barrier never came back. Mindless, foolish humans, who probably sought adventure just like I, but I am Dovahkiin, I defeated Alduin the World-Eater, and only six humans have ever crossed the Barrier.
What was the chance of someone with the blood of a dovah not making it out?
After hours of pondering and considering in the dead of night, I made up my mind. I'd journey to see the Holds of the Stormcloaks, and see where fate takes me.

After a short and rather un-restful sleep, I got up when the sun rose. It was a bright Fredas morning, with a few bright clouds sprinkling the sky.
I packed my bags and pockets with useful things such as potions and food, as well as a few other necessities here and there.
I was very strong, and could hold many things, so carrying this load was not a problem to me.
Although, sometimes at the end of day, after carrying a particularly heavy burden, my shoulders would weaken and I would only be able to walk very slowly, but that was beside the point.
I put on my fine heavy Blades' armor, Orcish gauntlets and boots-the boots being enchanted to give me strength- and a few enchanted rings on my already covered fingers.
I do not care for the Blades, but I still wear their armor, simply because it is strong, and I like the look and how very comfortable it is.
Finally, I slipped a mask of a Dragon Priest, Nahkriin, over my head.
I bid Lydia a quick farewell and rushed out the door. I looked forward to my new exciting quest.
As my home was close to the front gate, I left Whiterun quickly, and made my way down the path to the stables.
The stable master noticed me heading for my steed, and hurried to me for payment for letting my horse stay there. I handed over a coin purse I had prepared and led my horse, Shadowmere, out of his stall. I mounted him and we were swiftly off on the road to Dawnstar.
