Sif Still-Born is a child of legend... Literally. The story of her birth has become something of a horror story in Nord culture, meant to terrify children and warn suspicious souls away from the Daedra. But when she chooses to return to Skyrim, her father's homeland, she will get much more than she bargained for. DISCLAIMER: I don't own Skyrim, but Sif and her original story is all mine. This story had also been published by me on fanfiction.net, but it was published under the same username and written by me. Long story short, I didn't copy it. Enjoy!

A journey to reclaim a homeland is underway and a quest to slay a dragon is at hand. But on the eve of their departure, Thorin Oakenshield and his company are joined by a strange golden Elf who wields the even stranger power of the Thu'um who insists that she is the one to slay Smaug and so their quest begins. ~A humorous parody retelling the events of the Hobbit with the Dragonborn of Skyrim with a cast of characters she brought along from Tamriel, as well as several others.~

"Aye, the better question is what isn't troubling me," I mutter gloomily. Before the kind Bosmer can respond, his rude Nordic friend interrupts. "You look like you just crawled out of a cemetery. Are you sure you aren't one of those draugr come back to life?" He laughs and claps the Bosmer on the back heartily. A humorless smile plays on my lips, "Don't worry, friend." I put extra venom into the word 'friend.' "I've been dead far too long to come back to life." ••• Winter Iron-heart is a Stormcloak soldier with a heavy weight on her shoulders. She carries the burdens of guilt, sorrow, and regret. After helping the Stormcloaks to victory, she should be happy. Relieved. Joyous, even. But Winter can't forgive Ulfric, her fellow soldiers, or herself. Herself especially.

[NaNoWriMo progress] Caught up in the turmoil of rebellion after nearly avoiding execution in Helgen, Aldria Wolf-Spear must search for her missing cousin and learn to fight to evade the Thalmor's assassins. Jarl Balgruuf's orders entangle her with the members of the Companions' Guild, including the grumpy-yet-handsome Vilkas. After all, who better to help slay the returned dragons scarring the land than a bunch of professional beast-slayers and brutes? She must prove that she can harness her startling new abilities and confront her fears to survive and, just maybe, end the terror of Alduin's return. Just don't make her venture down into a cave: she absolutely hates draugr. Story notes: I've taken a few small liberties in adjusting a handful of scenes, but they should follow the main quest line scenes fairly well. I'm writing this as more of an adventure/fantasy narrative, with a bit less focus on romance, but there will be a payoff to reading along the adventure. Also, doesn't everyone love how grumpy Vilkas is? Author note: This is my first time writing fan fiction, so please be kind. But I do like constructive criticism. I'm not new to writing, but I'm new to writing about an existing fantasy world.

Freya War-Hammer is a pretty broken Nord but you wouldn't be able to tell. After her mother betrays her brother and her,her father dies, the only person left she loves leaves for ten years and she's called to fight a losing battle? I don't blame her. She's fiery, fierce and beautiful. She's also skilled (not really she's horrible,) with the thu-um and un paralleled with a war-hammer. Try not to cross her, you play with fire. You get burned.

Jayden Black, the current High King, has no time for the civil war in Skyrim, thanks to him aiding the Inquisition. All of that changes when he receives a letter stating General Tullius plans to attack Windhelm. Now, Jayden and the rest of the Stormcloaks must leave their loved ones to defend their city. And with the aid of Jayden's cousin Janny, who is also Dragonborn, they should win the battle. Right? Only time will tell.
