I followed Toriel through the next doorway. We stopped in a circular room, which I saw a single practice dummy in the middle. Another gaping doorway was to the left of our entrance.

"As an adventurer in the Stormcloak Holds, monsters may attack you. You will need to be prepared for this situation. However, worry not! The process is simple. When you encounter a monster, you will enter a Fight."

Ah. That must have been what created the darkness while I was with Drago. With other monsters, I wondered how hard it would be to defeat them-

"While you are in a Fight, strike up a friendly conversation!"

-What.

Toriel continued. "Stall for time. I will come to resolve the conflict. Practice talking to the dummy."

I was supposed to talk to the monsters? How am I going to get unique loot!? However, Toriel had a certain feel, that made me want to talk to the monsters instead of hurt them. As if she loved them all, and didn't want them to get hurt. But what if they attack and I have to defend? This mental war went on as I approached the dummy.

As I stepped in front of it, our surroundings went dark again. My float-y soul returned and the dummy was in the spotlight. I talked to the dummy about nothing in particular. It felt very awkward. I waited in silence, waiting for an answer I knew wouldn't come.

It didn't seem much for conversation.

The Fight affect went away, banishing my soul again. That sounded weird.

"Ah, very good! You are very good," Toriel said. Without another word she went through the next door.

We entered another long room, going again east to west. Another foot-worn path was in this room, but it was set in a weird way, with many turns about the room. "There is another puzzle in this room... I wonder if you can solve it?"

We continued down the hallway, which got thinner on the other end. As we entered the thin part, a frog monster jumped in front of me.

We entered a Fight. Not knowing what to do, I quickly complimented it in my panic. What? I don't think it even understood me, but was flattered anyway. Suddenly Toriel entered the Fight, and stared at the frog-creature menacingly. It backed off looking ashamed.

The Fight ended. Toriel looked at me. "That was a Froggit," she said. "You handled the situation well!"

We kept on walking. On the side of the wall was another stone tablet.

The western room is the eastern room's blueprint.

We entered the western room, which held a large jumble of spikes. They were surrounded by a moat of water.

"This is the puzzle but... Here, follow me." Toriel crossed over the moat on a small bridge, heading to the spikes. I followed close behind. I looked over her shoulder, and saw that as soon as her furry feet almost touched the spikes, they slammed down to avoid her.

We walked in a certain way, making sharp turns every once and a while. I soon realized, the etched tablet gave my the answer. The weird path in the first room was the exact way we made our way across. What an easy puzzle.

Once across, we came to another opening. Before heading through, Toriel looked at me again. "These puzzles seem a little too dangerous for now."

We continued together to the next room.

This is reaally boring because of all of the puzzle rooms but keep with me! I've got great plans for the road ahead. (At least I hope you'll think my plans are great...) Again, not edited, so yeah.
