Laxus' POV
Mirajane did a good job of staying out of plain sight. Her Baton location was extremely risky, but she managed. Maybe I should... Acknowledge her more?

As long as we stayed out of plain sight, the race should be a breeze for our team.

Gray's POV
I was running, catching up to Juvia.

"Ice Make: Lance," arrow-like objects of ice shot at her. I needed to pass her.

"Stop Gray, Juvia does not intend to hurt you or slow down for you." She glanced back at me, while dodging 'lance'.

"Ice Make: Floor," I stopped running and put my hand on the ground causing the entire area to become an ice arena.

Juvia jumped up, as the ice passed. Landing down on the now frosted ground she smiled a little.

"I guess I have no choice but to fight you, Gray-sama." I returned the smirk.

"That's right."

Gajeel's POV
I had to admit, Levy was pretty smart in getting the Baton from Lucy. I know she'll feel bad after the race though, but that's why I'm here, eh?

I smirked to myself. We were in first place, or so we knew of, since Mirajane hasn't been seen, nor her team.

Juvia was behind me, but she had stopped to fight Gray, according to the standpoint Lacrima Screen.

As long as we didn't come in last, I didn't care.

Juvia's POV
This battle was becoming extremely hard for Juvia. Juvia did not want to fight Gray-Sama, but I could not let my team down. I had an idea.

I gathered water around me, I shaped it to form a large hand.

I controlled it to raise up and slam down on Gray in the form of a fist.

"Damn," he whispered, he had froze the air above him, shielding my water fist.

"That will not stop Juvia," I put all my strength into the fist, making the ice blocking him shatter to pieces.

The fist came down, crashing onto Gray, water spreading throughout the land around us.

"Juvia is sorry Gray-sama, but before I go.." I quickly tapped my lips against his and ran off.

"Juvia!! Come back here- we need to talk!" He shouted furiously and I giggled to myself.

'Juvia... Has had her first kiss with Gray-sama! Eeeeeeeee,' I mentally fangirled, smiling like a clown while running. 'Juvia's life is now complete.'

Gajeel's POV
'There's Natsu!' I smiled confidently, almost reaching the third leg position.

"Natsu!" He was already smirking at me. I handed the Baton off to him as he took off at full charge.

"Now I've got a fire in my belly!" I heard him shout through the forest.

Gajeel had gotten a little leverage on our team. Now we were in second.

"Dammit..." Finally, Elfman came into view. I picked it up for a final sprint to him. "Go!" I yelled and with that, he nodded and began running.

Sting's POV
It felt like forever, but Juvia finally delivered the Baton to me. Looks like I'd be neck to neck with Natsu.

I gained some ground, although Laxus's team was still unheard of.

I burnt the trees in the distance to a crisp, using my light magic. I finally had a clear view of the competition. I was gaining on Natsu. Laxus- still nowhere to be seen. Lisanna far behind, just now receiving the Baton from Gray, according to the Lacrima Screen. So we definitely weren't in last.
