"can you believe that's how it ended?" ten groaned for what seemed to be the tenth time. kun rolled his eyes as he stuffed his hands into his jean jackets pockets.

"yes. i told you the ending sucked." kun answered for ten to shake his head, still in disbelief.

jaehyun, ten, taeyong, taeil and kun decided to use their free time to go down to the local theater to watch the new movie that came out a few days ago. kun had already seen it but he couldn't turn down the opportunity to leave the house. after being locked away because of studying for finals, some free time was well needed.

"honestly, the male lead just had to end up gay. like what the hell!?" ten grumbled. kun stopped his movement to stare at him, shocked at his words. did he forget one of his close friends, by that being kun, was gay?

"what's wrong with that chittaphon?" he raised his brow, a look of realization of what he said seemed to wash over his face as he rushed to apologize.

"no no. it's not like that. i love gay people. it's just i wanted him to end up with the girl." kun nodded his head, still somewhat ticked off and hurt.

"uh-huh." the boys continued their walk out the theater, now accompanied by an awkward silence.

"so how's finals going?" taeyong spoke, trying to clear the tension. kun remained quiet while the others gushed about how they think they failed certain test. his eyes focused on the pavement below him. a hand landing on his shoulder caught his attention. he slowly looked up at the skinnier thai male.

"kun you know i'm perfectly fine with you being gay. don't take what i said to heart, ok?" he smiled his cute smile, showing off his perfect set of white teeth. kun smiled back, chuckling softly.

"yeah yeah. i know." ten wrapped his arm around him as all five of them continued their semi-long journey to the parking lot.

"should we kiss now?" he joked which earned him a shove. "kidding."

"ugh just the thought of going home to study makes my heart hurt." jaehyun complained as the group of friends reached his black honda accord.

"tell me about it. at least you don't have calculus and chemistry finals to worry about." taeil shot back, leaning against his red two door corvette.

"i think kun here has it the worst. mr. ap physics." taeyong smirked. kun blushed lightly, scratching the nape of his neck in habit. he tended to do it when he got flustered, which happens way too often.

"don't remind me. i have a test in two days. i'm not looking forward to it." jaehyun slapped kun's back with a smile.

"you'll pass like you always do." kun nodded. it was true. he passed all his test with flying colors, if not his parents would be displeased. it doesn't run in the qian family line to fail.

"well i better get going." taeil announced, looking at his wrist watch. it was pretty late, about 9 at night. the boys all hugged before retreating into their designated cars. kun pulled out after jaehyun and waved as he passed him before turning down the street that would get him home.
