The leaves rustled in the warm breeze. As the moonlight glittered onto the stream of water. Cries and murmurs of a child ruin the silence throughout the forest.
"Shh," The woman hushed calming the baby down. A new child has been born.
As the wolves and the human quickly scurried in through the trees, what they found was dreadful. Through the thick leaves and branches was a dead wolf. Zan lay there, unconscious. The other wolves gasped as Zuzu scurried through to see what happened, a gasp went down through the forest," Zuzu, I didn't do it! I didn't do it! You've got to believe me!" Maya began "Why should she believe you? You're a human!" One of the wolves snarled," Enough! Return to your dens." Gaia growled as the wolves scurried through the thick trees, Zuzu stood there staring in disbelief. Soon Zuzu refused to speak with Maya at all costs. Sadness went through the pack.
"This is all her fault!"
"I don't believe it,"
"Stay back! You know what might happen!"
"Her brother is gone, how do you feel about that? Pretty good, I bet,"
"Mum, I'm scared! Its the human that killed Zan!"
Hisses, snarls, whispers and growls went through the forest. Maya looked down sadly.

The night had struck the forest. Maya stayed up thinking about Zan, and got up form her mossy bed Zuzu made for her a long time ago. Maya walked over to the pond she was born in, next to a blossoming tree and sat down, this time in a better humanly form. She slowly looked down to her reflection and picked up a lotus.
"We're family," Maya thought, "We're family," That thought repeated "They're family," Maya's head rang. A tear rolled down her eye, and fell onto the lotus. Suddenly, the ground began to shake, the other wolves ignored it, but one of the wolves woke up in fright, the silhouette followed the sad crying into the hollow, it watched through the thick trees as Maya paused, as the ground stopped shaking, she glimpsed as fireflies joined in the form of a wolf's head, the silhouette silently gasped. Maya looked at it in bewilderment, it looked an awful lot like Zan "Maya," It began, Maya stared "Do not be afraid, for I am Zan," Maya glanced fearfully "W-what? I thought you died!" Maya shook in a mix of amazement and fear." I have, I am speaking to you through Animalia (A kingdom in an animal's afterlife)" Zan replied " I have summoned the fireflies to speak with you," Maya looked in wonder "About what?" Maya began "A great prophecy is troubling us all and only you can stop it from happening!" Zan replied "Prophecy?" Maya looked in a mix of fear and excitement " Yes, the human kind is building new villages and destroying the forest, with more human packs, there will be more pollution!" Zan alerted Maya "Only you can stop it" Maya looked around "Me?!" Maya rang "I have to go, please, take this cape, it has magical qualities!" Zan replied as a cape appeared in a flash of light, "Wait! W-what about the other wolves?" Maya glimpsed into the light as Zan disappeared.
The silhouette ran after Maya as she began to leave, "W-Wait!" It began. "Zuzu?" Maya turned around to see the silhouette," You'll need this.," Zuzu dropped a piece of prey she had coughed out. Maya didn't look very disgusted. "Thank you Zuzu," Maya respectfully licked Zuzu's shoulder in a wolf custom. "Now go!" Zuzu rang as she pushed Maya forward, Maya quickly scurried through the trees.
