We are planets
Separated by a force invisible to the human eye
But existing still
We can see each other
Talk to each other
But we can never get close
The force won't allow that
Eventually, a new planet comes along
Closer than us
And you say hello
The new planet responds
And we say goodbye
I thought we were special
Only us in our galaxy
Surrounded by twinkling stars and bright colors, making us shine like we were meant to
But the force thought differently
We are planets
And even though we seem strong,
we seem unbreakable,
we are weak; frail
And we can fall apart as quickly as we were made
