The bell finally rung after what seemed like forever. Ruby smiled to herself as she stood and stretched. She made her way out of the classroom and back to her locker. She unlocked it, placed her supplies back in, and retrieved the supplies needed for her next class. "Hey." A voice said from behind her, slightly startling her. "Oh, hey Peyton, you scared me." She giggled softly as Peyton just rolled her eyes playfully. "We have the next class together, remember?" She asked, placing her hands on her hips. "I remember, I remember." Ruby replied, linking her arm with Peyton as they went down to their next class, science.

"Oh my gosh!" Ruby busted out laughing as the entire class turned their heads to stare at the duo. Their project was to mix baking soda and vinegar, but Peyton ended up adding to much to where it overflowed and soaked into the lab coat, soaking the clothes she was wearing underneath as well. "It's not funny! Do you know how much I had to pay for these clothes?!" Peyton snapped, glaring at Ruby as she tried to stop laughing. Eventually the entire class began to chuckle and the teacher ushered Peyton out to change. Ruby was wiping down the table, still smiling to herself. 'Today is going to be a good day.'

She made her way out of the science class, glancing around for Peyton. "She must still be changing..." She murmured to herself as she headed down to the lunchroom. "RUBY!" Someone yelled behind her and before she could even turn, something slammed into her, sending her to the ground. "Anastasia!" Ruby shouted, laughing as Anastasia giggled. "My bad." Anastasia said, standing and offering her hand to Ruby. "You did that on purpose." Ruby said, accepting the hand that was given to her. "Oh, you know me so well." Anastasia replied, placing her hands over her heart. They both giggled and went down to the lunchroom. An arm placed itself on her shoulder and she glanced to her left side to see Leo grinning down at her. "Hi Leo, how was class?" She asked smiling up at him. "Same as always. Boring." He replied, kissing her temple. "How about you?" He asked as Anastasia faked gagged in the background. "You guys have to hear what happened." She giggled, recalling the events and telling them to her now 2 year boyfriend and childhood best friend.

The three were laughing as they sat down at the table. "So, she's not back yet?" Anastasia asked, pulling her phone from her pocket. "No, why?" Ruby asked, tilting her head to the side. "I am going to post that story all over social media." Anastasia replied, grinning like a madman. Just then, the door to the cafeteria opened and the chatter stopped for a second. The trio glanced behind them at the doors. "Here comes trouble." Anastasia grumbled, glaring towards the guy dressed in a leather jacket, red t-shirt, black jeans, and black combat boots as he entered the cafeteria. The room erupted into whispers. "Who is that?" Ruby asked, narrowing her eyes to try and get a better look at him. His gaze met hers for a second and that second was enough to send shivers down her spine. Leo wrapped his arm around Ruby, replying, "He's trouble, stay away from him." Anastasia nodded slightly, turning back to her food. "That's the school's notorious bad boy, Ryder King."
