Do you know what it's like to live like me? To be me? It's not so great as everyone assumes. Being the daughter of an idol isn't at all "dreamy", it actually sucks BIG TIME! Especially if your mother is dead and you have to live with him and his members.
Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Lee Aeri, 16 years old and really bored with life currently. Grounded as well. Here's the story to how it happened...
"Aeri, I'm just going out for a bit. I hired a babysitter to take care of you. Behave." Dad came into my room, "But dad-" He cut me off with a stern voice, "No 'but's young lady. I have to go see you later." I let out a heavy sigh, "Bye dad."
This woman is working on my last nerve. She's so annoying. Nag nag nag nag nag nag nag nag nag nag nag. ALL THE TIME! To escape it all, I'm deciding to leave the dorm until dad returns.
"Well this is unfortunate." I spot The8 walking in my direction but he hasn't noticed me yet. I hid behind the wall, praying he doesn't turn the corner.I keep on peeking around the corner. With each step closer the more nervous I became out of fear that he will catch me. I could hear his footsteps get louder and louder the closer he came. My breath hitched as he walked pass but relief washed over me as he continued walking straight. Once he was out of sight, I escaped.
While walking I felt a hand on my shoulder. I froze and turn around slowly only to come face to face to Seventeen's manager, "Uh..." Was all I could manage to say. Turning slightly pale.
"Don't worry Aeri. I won't tell you "ran away" from your babysitter. I need you for something." He dragged me to his office, "What's up PD-oppa?"
"I need you to deliver this to IKON's manager." "but that's a distance. From here to YG-" "Here's my credit card but what you want. There's a chauffeur waiting outside for you." He placed the black card in front of me, "Won't my dad scold?"
"Aniya. I've already arranged with him." I take the card and stand up, "What do I need to deliver?" He pulled a letter out of his desk draw and handed it to me, "I'll be going now, because I have obvious things to do." I bow and leave.
*at YG*
I knock on the door to IKON's dorm hoping at least they could tell me where the hell their manager was. The door opened revealing a boy, "Another tall one eh? My dad's tiny. Anyway is your manager here?" I ask getting straight to the point, "Who is it?" Another walked out, "You're pretty."
"And in a rush so where's your manager?"
"Inside." The boy who answered the door now answered my question, "Please come in." He offered, "Mianhe but that won't be happening. Please give this to him. It's from Seventeen's manager. Bye, have a good day." I hand him the letter and leave. Leaving the two boys speechless. Now it's time to shop. I know you're thinking I'm an idol's daughter I should have lots of things. Truth is, I don't. My dad isn't stingy with his money either. I'm just not spoilt like people assume. But today is different, I'm going to spoil myself.
...
Dad's going to kill me! It's 12am. I'm so past curfew.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how I ended up grounded, "I have something important to discuss with you." My dad walked in, "You will be starring in a movie with IKON. That's what was discussed in that letter you had to go deliver today."
"Hmm. Aniya." I turn my head, "No ones knows you're my daughter except everyone here at Pledis. You need to get it there. I'm not telling you to expose yourself as my child, because that would cause chaos, I'm telling you you need to do something with your life. You've always liked acting.""Ani." I turn my attention to the birds flying outside, "Lee Aeri-" Dad was cut off by Jeonghan-oppa, "I'd like to speak with Aeri please." He stated. Why does everyone want to speak to me today?
