Chapter 2 - Twins
Somethin' Bad - Miranda Lambert

I impatiently wait in the lobby for Rhonda to come and get me. The whole scenery is modern, a lot of white going on. It smells of fresh flowers, maybe I would be fine with this smell, but it reminded me of the long nights I spent in the hospital with my family for Mom's cancer.

I tap my foot while I wait, deciding to go on my phone to interact with some fans. I start with Twitter first.

@celesteisssmylife89: @CelesteGold I just saw the movie and it was so good omf slay cel slayyyy

I smile, typing a quick response.

@CelesteGold: @celesteisssmylife89 thanks bby, glad you liked it ;)

@haleyirwinn: @CelesteGold can't believe how hard you rocked that movie ughhh I love you

@CelesteGold: @haleyirwinn I love you too

I do this for the next five minutes until Rhonda comes out to get me.

"Celeste?" she calls, making me look up. I get up, following her down the hall. Her heels click loudly, people look up at us from their desks, quickly looking back down when they see me.

"Right in here," Rhonda says as we approach one of the biggest offices on the floor. I go in, seeing a thick folder and a man sitting across from it. I smile at him, sitting down in the chair.

He smiles back, folding his hands. Rhonda takes a seat next to me, crossing her legs in the process. "Thank you for coming in today, Celeste," the man speaks, "I'm Logan Pierce."

"Nice to meet you," I say, shaking his hand, "Celeste Gold."

He nods his head, opening the folder, revealing a bunch of paperwork. My eyebrows rise, knowing this must be a big offer.

"Why shouldn't we just jump right into this then. I work with Modest! Management, and we have noticed that one of our singers is in desperate need of a change. We're worried that his reputation is going down the wrong path by dating a girl named Megan Lane. He's starting to act out for some unknown reason. We need something to change the view of this. I know it seems silly, but the situation has gotten out of hand."

He slides me a picture of the girl. She is absolutely stunning, making me confused. Her blond hair and blue eyes make her look like the perfect model. Why would someone like this ruin someone else's career?

"She's pretty," I wonder out loud. Rhonda laughs, quickly covering her mouth with her hand.

"Indeed she is," Logan agrees with a bored tone, obviously annoyed. "But she's a worldwide famous prostitute. When our singer was spotted with her we were very excited, but people started to recognize her. He needs someone to cover her up, as if she never happened. He's been acting down, as I mentioned earlier, and the fans are starting to notice the drastic change in his behavior. They weren't seen in public more than three times, giving us the perfect opportunity for you to step in."

I try to think back to the many magazines I see in stores, or the ones that Mom reads to pass time. I had to have seen the name before, but nothing comes up.
