Mabel was picking up on some vibes. For a while, she couldn't quite put her finger on it, but it was starting to became entirely obvious. When Dipper and Twilight met, they had regarded each other as someone who could have the potential to become a friend. And when they did, they acted exactly as that, friends. After a while though, it was clear that there was a bit more to them that met the eye. Mabel and Wendy seemed to both realize this the night they scavenged for food. They both had came back to the fireside to find the two bookworms seemingly closer and blushing profusely. At this moment, they realized what was happening.

"You should talk to him," Mabel suggested to Wendy. The lumberjack was hesitant at first, considering that emotional talks weren't really her strong suit, but she knew it was better than having Dipper hold in his feelings. She nodded solemnly to Mabel and walked over to Dipper. He was sitting on a log, with one hand on his chin, and the other holding an iris of some sort. He seemed to be zoning off, before Wendy caught his attention.

"Nice flower," Wendy complemented. Dipper's eyes flew to the blossom in his hand. His cheeks turned pink as he processed what she said.

"O-Oh this? I just found it in the forest, and I thought it looked nice. Mabel might like to see it." he said defensively.

Wendy raised her eyebrow. "I think I know someone else who might like it."

"The flower would probably die if I walked all the way back to Gravity Falls."

"I'm not saying you have to."

"Are you saying I still like you?" Dipper asked frantically.

"No, and I'm not saying you have  to give it to your sister either. There's someone else who might like it."

"Look, I just thought it was nice, why is it so important all of a sudden?"

"Because you won't confess your feelings!"

 "What are you talking about?"

 "TWILIGHT!" Wendy shouted, finally snapping.

Dipper was surprised at first, then angry. "She's a pony! That's disgusting!" he told Wendy.

"Dipper, I've seen the way you look at her. It's the same way you looked at me about a month ago," Wendy explained. Dipper thought about this, but it was hard to take in. Twilight flew in on the scene. while he was contemplating his feelings.

"I'm sorry that I'm late, I heard you call my name," Twilight apologized.

"I-It's fine, Twilight," Dipper said, scratching the back of his neck. Wendy looked directly at Dipper with a stern expression. The boy knew what he should do.

"Hey Twilight, I picked you this flower!"
