My wolf growled, angered that these vampires took her from us. I watched silently through the trees, holding back my own growl.

The security patrols had doubled around the coven main house, not that it would help them. My baby is in there. A million guards can't save them now.

Night fell and I closed in on the house. A guard stepped in front of me, he hadn't seen me so I threw a tiny dart in his neck and he dropped to the ground.

I leapt over his body, the shadows hugging me, hiding me from view. I bent my knees, crouching to the damp grass, I let out a long breath that clouded in the air in front of me.

I opened my eyes and sprung up, landing silently on the overhanging balcony. I stood and slipped inside, shocked by the luxury of the room.

Ignoring the gold trim on the carpet and the diamond chandelier over a four poster king sized fluffy bed.

I snuck down the grand hallway and followed her scent into a dark, grey hall. I sniffed the air and arrived at the last door of the hall.

Her scent is strong here; why are there no guards?

I pondered inside my head, neve the less I slowly and quietly turned the handle, slipping in through the tiny gap.
