Chapter IV: Finding The Truth Part I

"So are you going to tell me or not because I know you don't want to risk dying on saving a person you absolutely hate?" I said getting to her. She shaked her head yes. Payback is going to be sweet.

"Running. Running as fast as my feet can take me, I ran through the nice looking woods, never got the chance to ever get to look at the many trees and wonderful flowers that blossomed every year, but I guess today is another day as I rushed through them to try to find safety.

All of this doesn't add up right, why would he hide this from me. All of them. I trusted all of them and now I feel like I'm just a valuable artifact, always having to be protected, no not this time.

I reached a small cabin. I ran in and went to the smallest room. I heard footsteps not too long after mines. Did I intrude someone's privacy? Did they find me? Did the other's find me? Is this my last day of living?

All my answers were thrown out the window as soon as the door was open and see him coming towards me. "Don't touch me" I said backing up. "Please let me explain" He tried to compromise with me, but I wasn't having it.

"No! I trusted you... and you lied to me." I said losing my temper, but trying to control it.

"I lied to save and protect you, if you come and let us explain-" He got cut off by my chuckle of disgust. "I'm not going anywhere, you lied and I love you, you and the rest of them lied. Do you think I'm stupid. I....I-"

I picked up a metal stick and threw it at him, but to my use he just caught it with his quick ability. I ran towards him punching and screaming at him.

Wanting to know such nonsense, but deep down I knew I wasn't hallucinating or out of my mind. I knew they lied to protect me, but it's just a phase for me right now.

He kissed me. I looked at him.

"I'm sorry. I love you, I'll always love and protect you. What I am doesn't affect how I feel about you, but you have to listen one way or another."

He said his grip getting tighter around my arms as he nodded to someone behind him.

It was hard for me to see, but the only thing I felt was a needle going into my neck and I started to feel dizzy.

Fuzziness came crashing in and I swear I heard a faint "I'm sorry" then it came from one of my best friends standing near me, I couldn't get to see who as I blacked out."

Hours Earlier

Zayn's POV

I was sweating, moving from side to side. I felt like I was trapped. I couldn't move. I was screaming for someone to help. But no words, nothing but yells.

I felt my body being shook. I kept yelling, my body was being shaken harder followed by light speaking.

It sounded like someone was saying "get up". My body shook harder and I finally emerged awake. I was panting with sweat, I felt more weight on me only to see Briana on top of me.

She had her hands on each side of my shoulders, she was sitting on me. She had a scared look on her face. I just looked at her.

No cuts, no blood? I was having a nightmare, but it felt so real.

"Zayn..." she said in a low whisper. I looked in her glossy eyes. I kissed her. It was the only way to let her know that I'm ok.

We separated for air. I took the chance to tear her shirt off and start kissing her neck roughly. I picked her up and put her on the couch we have in our room.
