Suicide Squad, in my personal opinion, wasn't a terrible movie.

It had its flaws of course, I found the pacing was odd, it felt rushed in the first parts and the lack of scenes with the Joker set me off a bit, the movie seemed like it had more scenes but had to be cut down. Which actually did happen apparently, Joker had more screen time but apparently that shit was offensive and Warner Bros. Wasn't in the mood to deal with a bunch of entitled whiny brats screaming that this movie was oppressing women or some shit. Idk feminists are weird sometimes.

But honestly, this isn't a bad film, misdirected in parts? Sure, worst film of 2016? Fuck no, the only thing I'm truly disappointed in was the lack of scenes with the Joker and they didn't have that much of Deadshot's origin story

I liked the characters, I didn't know shit about El Diablo, Rick Flag or Boomerang and they ended up being some of my favourite characters by the end of it. They did a good job of Floyd, Harley and Joker honestly, Floyd was a hard ass/smart ass which was great. June Moore's storyline about how she's struggling with having Enchantress inside her was cool as fuck to me, I like storylines like that, it wasn't that long, but I still liked it.

The cameos with Batman were cool and tHAT HINT OF HARLEY,S JESTER COSTUME GOT ME JUMPING UP AND DOWN OH MY LORD, THAT SHIT FUCKED ME UP AND WHEN THEY SHOWED THAT CLASSIC IMAGE OF HARLEY AND JOKER HAND IN HAND LIKE THEY WERE DANCING KÎLLED ME

I know people have issues with Deadshot and Harley's relationship, but I think they handled it well and just making them friends and kinda have them tease each other was adorable to me. Personally I like both Joker/Harley and Deadshot/Harley, I don't see a problem with liking one or the other tbh. I mean, I used to like Batman/Harley when I was five so I can't judge

Honestly, just don't take the critics too seriously and ignore it, personally I can see why someone may not like SS. I don't think it's because they have a vendetta against DC, I mean, critics lick Nolan's asshole for the dark knight trilogy and they're Dc movies.

And plus, Dc is the only comic book company to have ever gotten on Oscar for their films.

Take that Marvel
