"It's going to rain soon."Sol stated,looking up at the sky.

You looked over at your former Pokemon in wonder.Even without having fur anymore he can still predict the weather,huh? You look up at the clear,blue sky."I don't doubt you."

Espeon are known for their fine,lilac velvety fur which is sensitive enough to sense minute shifts in the air, thus allowing them to predict the weather.But how can he still do that without fur? With his hair?

You got the sudden urge to pat Sol's head and run your fingers through his hair.You blushed at the thought.Would he even allow you to touch him in such a way in his human form? You look over at him and catch him staring at you.

You felt your face warm up.Did he read your thoughts? "U-uh,w-w-what?"

His cheeks turn a slight hint of pink."I was just wondering how it would feel like kissing you in the rain."

You blink."Ehhh? Why would you think that?" Now your face was burning up for sure.

He smirked."I saw it being done in a movie once and I thought about doing it with you."

Your heart skipped a beat.That smile of his was so cute.You can't handle it.He's always had such a darling smile for as long as you can remember.Every time you saw it you felt all warm and fuzzy inside.

"Anyway,we should hurry up and get inside before it starts raining.I wouldn't want you to get wet.For all I know,you could get struck by lightning."Sol placed his hand on the small of your back,snapping you out of your thoughts.You felt a shiver crawl up your spine.

"W-wait! I just remembered I have to run to the PokeMart to buy groceries for dinner! How come I didn't remember this sooner?"You exclaimed in realization.

"I could go buy them for you.Just give me the grocery list and I'll be on my way.I don't want you getting a cold by being out in the rain."Sol stuck out his hand.

"N-no! I'm making a surprise dinner so I might as well go myself!"As you were about to run off,Sol grabbed you by the arm.

"At least let me walk you to and from the 'Mart.I don't want you going off on your own.Let me get my coat from inside first."

You waited for him to come back and you set off together.Luckily,the PokeMart wasn't too far from home so it wouldn't take you long to get there.

"Alright,I'll wait outside for you,that way I won't be able to see what you're buying."You nodded and left Sol to wait outside,standing.

The PokeMart is very resourceful and thus,you were able to quickly find what you needed.You didn't buy much so the load was light.You would be able to walk home easily without having to carry so much weight.But then again,Sol would most likely take the load and carry them himself.

You went out front to meet him with two light grocery bags in each of your hands."I bought dinner for today and dinner for tomorrow so I don't have to come again the next day."You explained.

"Give them to me."Sol ordered,reaching out.

"No,I can do fine myself,thanks."

As you said that,two guys came out of the PokeMart behind you and stopped to take a good look at you.You didn't notice,but Sol did.

"What are you looking at?"He glared."Close your mouths,you're drooling."Sol got you from around the waist and pulled you next to him.

The guys also got a good look at Sol and made a weird face at his peculiar appearance.They walked away without a word.

"What was that for? What did they do?"You asked,unaware.

"This is why I always have to be with you.Or else,people like them will keep staring at you in a way that I don't like.You're just too cute."Sol scolded,still holding you by around the waist.

You blushed."Huh? You think I'm cute?"

He realized what he said and his face turned a deeper shade of pink than yours."Well,I mean,of course,you are.Just look at yourself.You're adorable.Don't you ever look in a mirror?"He avoided eye contact and rubbed the back of his neck."Let's just go already."

Sol took you by the hand and you walked side by side like that for a while.You squeezed his hand,not letting go.Suddenly,it started to rain,just as Sol had predicted.The sky that was once clear and blue was now gray and cloudy.

Sol sighed."See? Here.You'll get all wet."He took off his coat and draped it over you,leaving him exposed to the rain.You held it up over you to look at him.

"What about you? I don't want you to get wet."

"It's better if you took it.I don't need it."

"Yes,you do!"You grabbed his shirt collar and tugged him under the coat with you.

"See? It's better if we're both under it together."You beamed at him.

He blushed."Th-thank you."

You both held the coat over your heads until you arrived home."Look! We're almost home!"

Before the both of you could get to the door,Sol let go of the coat and placed it over his shoulder,getting the both of you wet.

"What did you do that for? We're getting wet!"

Sol remained silent and took a step towards you.You looked up as he towered over you.He placed his hand under your chin.

"Remember how I told you I wanted to kiss you in the rain?"

Your eyes widened,blushing."Y-yeah."

"(Y/N)..I'm going to do it."

He pulled you in close,your hips against his.He started off soft and gentle,slowly transitioning from kissing your lips to very gently squeezing your bottom lip between his teeth.He started to slowly pull backward so that your lip slowly slid through his teeth.He took the same bottom lip into his mouth and began to gently suck on it.You felt a tingling sensation throughout your body.The gentle sucking made it more pleasurable.You slowly ran your hands through his hair.He used his hands to tilt and change the angle of your face to alter the way you were kissing each other.

You found yourselves out of breath.You stared deeply into his eyes,admiring the beautiful shade of purple they were.Your heart was racing and you felt euphoric.You could tell Sol felt the same way.

"I see you've been thinking about doing this for a long while now."

"You have no idea."

He smiled and your heart melted.
