Chapter 49 - A Promise

Here you have it! After two long years without an update, I'm here with one! The book has been written since 2014, but being a perfectionist, it's taken time to edit and revise, and revise over and over again. Although, these chapters being updated are my originals from years ago, the revised ones have been leading up to a big revelation...... You got to the restraunt shortly and looked for a seat. The restraunt was packed even though Justin had informed the waitress that he made the reservations weeks ago. You could tell Justin was getting frustrated. "Hey Justin!" You heard someone shout. You prayed it hadn't been paparazzi or fans. You turned around to see two familiar faces approach you. Suddenly, you realized who it was. "Hey Miley" Justin said back giving Miley a friendly hug. Justin man-hugged Liam, Miley's fiancé. "Who's this sweetheart?" Miley asked looking over at you. "This is (y/n), my girlfriend" he said quietly. Miley gave you a big smile then pulled you in for a hug. "It is impossible to find a table in here" Justin told Miley. "Come join us" Miley told Justin. We followed Miley to an empty booth with a fancy tag written "Hemsworth" on it. The four of you talked and then ate supper. "We have to get going but we should do this again sometime!" Miley said, getting up from the booth. "Of course!" You answered. The both of you exchanged numbers. "Are you guys busy tomorrow?" Miley asked you. You looked over at Justin for an answer. He shook his head "Were free" you told Miley. "I'm filming a scene for my new movie Catching Fire in the city, you guys should stop by tomorow" Liam said in a thick Australian accent. You loved different accents.'"Well be there" Justin said to Liam. Everyone said goodbye and soon enough, it was just you and Justin. "I'm so sorry, tonight was supposed to be our night " he said to you. "It's ok! I had fun!" You said, reassuring Justin. "I have something to give to you" Justin said to you. By the look on his face, you knew he was serious which only made you nervous. "We've been dating for a month now, and we've spent the last few months together. I can honestly say, they have been the best months of my life" Justin said to you. He was starting to sweat and he was nervous. You got more and more nervous. "You make me the happiest guy on the planet" he continued. "We're both way to young to elope, I never planned to get married at eighteen either..." Justin said. You could feel yourself shake. He couldn't be proposing could he? You were way to young! Justin pulled out a small teal velvet box from his pant pocket. He opened the box. There was a heart silver infinity ring. It was the most beautiful ring you have ever seen. "This is a promise ring. It's not a wedding ring, one day it might be, but for now I just want to promise you something." Justin licked his lips and looked down, what he normally did when he was nervous. "This ring is a promise. It's to promise you that I will always be here for you, whenever you need me." Justin said looking right into your eyes. It felt like he was digging into your soul. Justin took the ring out of the box and slid it into your finger. It looked beautiful on your hand. The ring fit perfectly. "How did you figure out my ring size?" You asked Justin curiously. You must've looked like an idiot. You were smiling so big, but right now,you didn't care. "I need to keep some secrets to me" Justin said to you, winking. You looked down at your ring, admiring the diamonds. "You know why I did this?" Justin asked you. You shook your head. "Because.. I love you" Justin said. A million thoughts rushed through your head. You pressed your lips to Justin's and wrapped your arms around his neck, tickling the back of it with your finger nails. "I love you too" you whispered In his ear. You had love, and right now, that's all you needed. RingBlue heart
